  • The Obama administration plants an organic garden at the White House for PR purposes, then proceeds to tell people they can’t make their own food with out Big Brother’s permission, taxation and regulation.

    Brilliant.

  • Parents also need to understand that this “alone time” may be used in California to give your child vaccines that you may not want them to have. California AB499, quietly passed last fall, allows nurses and docs to give children the Gardasil and Hepatitis B vaccines to a child 12 and older (although I know of two 11 year olds who were given it) with out the parents knowledge or consent.

Both vaccines can have severe side effects, with more than 100 deaths of “Gardasil Girls” now, and more than 25,000 adverse reactions, and with HHS ruling that Hep B vaccine can cause MS and Lupis, you have a senario where a child can fall very ill, and parents won’t know to even look for a vaccine injury, as they will never know a vaccine was given.

And, of course, the parent won’t be able to apply for help to the federal Vaccine Injury Compensation Program, because they won’t know it may be a vaccine injury. Saves lots for money for the government that way.

  • But what if I don’t want to become Borg?

  • We were driven out of a church after we found that it was mishandling disabled children. We made the mistake of believing that the church would want to know and correct the problem. Instead they told us that we had to sign a gag order not to tell anyone what we had witnessed. We refused, they threw our kids out of school, us out of leadership, lied in a state investigation and smeared us in the community. We left the church, our family, the state and moved to the other side of the country.

The church in America is so broken and corrupted.

  • This week I met a mom who took her young daughter to the pediatrician because her legs were not working correctly. The doctor said the mother was abusing her daughter and called CPS. Mom went home, packed a bag and fled the state before CPS showed up at her house. She took the child back to her first pediatrician, two states away, who found that the girl had a malignant tumor on her spine and saved her life. It is a very bad doctor that diagnoses cancer as child abuse.

Blaming the patients is a sign that you may be dealing with incompetent medical professionals, who are more concerned with their own power issues than with actual patent care.

  • There is no “due respect” in your comment what so ever.

My child is a part of society and is not to be relegated to a back room. Nor should he be. Every year I go to my son’s class, explain autism to them, explain how my son is special and different from them, and every year the kids are great. They ask questions, tell me what they have noticed about him and what he is good at. And every year I have to choke back tears of gratitude and pride for those kids when they ask me, “How can we help him in school?”

Those kids don’t need to be protected from my son by heartless, ignorant Scrooges like you… they are enriched by him. He challenges them and softens them and teaches them patience and how to love and care for those whose life is more of a struggle than theirs.

He is nine, and has the speech of a three year old, but I walk into the lunch room and hear, “Chandler! Sit next to me.” My son is beautiful and has value and makes those around him better people.

Try spending time loving some of those difficult kids. I promise you, you won’t ever ask such a horrid, ugly question again.

  • Go into your living room, turn on the tv as loud as you can. Then turn on a hairdryer and point it at your head. Then cover your body in itching powder. Then turn on the radio as loud as you can. Then get 18 children in the room to yell and scream as loud as they can. Then empty the garbage can on your living room floor. Then put tacks on a chair and sit down on it and try to do a complex math problem… with which ever hand you don’t write with. Then when you get frustrated because you can’t focus because your senses are completely overloaded by the bombardment of your surroundings, have an important authority figure come in and tell you that you are doing it wrong. Then when you get upset about it, have them stuff you in a bag.

That is why your precious little one has to endure outbursts from little boys like mine.

Because mine is doing 10 times the work yours is just to do the minimum to keep up in school.

    You are heartless.

  • so let me get this straight…

Homeland security is so important that I have to allow the government to x-ray my bones to make sure I don’t have explosives in my panties, but at the same time, so unimportant that we can have unmanned ports into our country.

    Best. Presidental. Administration. Ever.

  • The FDA has sold out the American Public. Oz is looking out for consumers. End of discussion.

  • As the mom of a special needs child who knows what kind of bad things can happen when bus drivers do not follow policy, even I would be OK if my bus driver transporting my autistic son let police officers in to keep them from getting hurt. I am super paranoid about these things, but these are cops. They should be given the benefit of the doubt that they will not threaten the safety of a child in an emergency.
