  We, you and I, are the militia, I think you are confusing the militia and the national guard or military….the founders wanted a check on government, not the militia.They didn’t have or condone of a standing army back then and only formed one in time of war, to be dissolved after the conflict and would be shocked at the military and government complex of today.We all, 18-60 year old men(and now woman) are the militia. We are to supply our own weapons and ammunition and gear to be able to come to the defense of the state when called.

  I have said it over and over too, Almost all my pro gun friends think having to submit to a background check or get a ccw to carry concealed is legit and in step with the constitution. How people in DC or Chicago justify their draconian laws and subdued their population for this long is beyond me

  I believe it is this way, Our schools have kept kids ignorant of the constitution on purpose,Most adults have no idea what the 2nd even is let alone its meaning, Our legislators know exactly what the meaning is but fawn ignorance and claim otherwise if asked to keep the agenda of a total gun ban moving forward. And They had almost totally gotten away with it ….

  But very recently I have begun to see a glimmer of hope and an awakening within the pro gun world. Hunters actually backing AK and AR shooters and defending target shooters weapons when before they were like “ban them evil black rifles,it does not affect me”. I have also seen a small interest in wanting to at least look into this gun thing by some almost rabid antis. When before they would not even consider talking about a gun …EVER. So there is hope.

  Hey If that is what a store decides their policy is(crap though it would be) I would applaud them enforcing it 100%. I am tired of the politicians and police getting one set of rules while we the people are forced to follow another. Maybe then they would be a little more aware of the problem that exists with our laws.

  Also where in that shall not be infringed language is it legal to limit types, numbers or require a ccw or any other law that co opted the first law. Any and all laws passed that in any way…I repeat ANY WAY infringe on our right to keep or bear any firearm is unconstitutional. CCW laws are just as unconstitutional as a total ban. And until we realize that and either amend the constitution, or get rid of all of these infringements to our rights, we will continue to see our rights abused.
