Mine lives in the Church, Drives a Honda, and tithes his salary back to charity. 1500 Families attend each week. We have an awesome fundraising capability, and added over 50,000 square feet to the campus recently, and we respect the man who is our Pastor. He not only talks the talk, he walks the walk every day. Thank You Patrick, you are a great man.
Glory to God! That truly is awesome! (Absolutely no sarcasm whatsoever was intended by that)
Now let me ask a couple of questions about his trip going over.
1)One way how long does it take to get to the destination? Time is the MOST precious commodity/resource that we have. Once it's gone you will never be able to get it back, and time is not infinite. I can imagine some of the layovers that it takes to travel to some of the remote locations that ministers go to. With having a private aircraft think of the amount of time that can be saved just in transit by missing all the extra stops that commercial aircraft makes.
2)In what condition is he in when he arrives, i.e. is he restful ready to hit the ground running? A person, when tired, is less effective as a minister. People when tired will yield to their flesh(selfish, carnal ways) more often then when rested.
3)Is he in an environment (on the plane, alone away from distractions) that he can properly hear from God and prepare to minister at 100% capacity? This one goes along with #2. Have you ever been through Chicago/O'hare airport during the holidays? Not fun, nor recommended. Some environments can, for lack of a better phrase, suck the life right out of you.
Here are some advantages to having a better private acft for ministry work: 1) leave later, arrive earlier, stay longer 2) more rested coming and going 3)take more people to minster with 4)carry more cargo/gifts 5) stop at other ministry locations from the time savings

Every country in the world with a black leader is a larger version of Ferguson. Coincidence?

I was wondering how long it would take the Blaze to find a former Navy SEAL to comment on something.

He isn’t a serious contender for president. He would make a good Surgeon General or HHS secretary. It’s amazing how people will fall all over themselves because of one speech at a prayer breakfast.

Jesse Ventura is definitely a dirt bag but even Kyle’s fellow Seals have stated he was a consummate BSer. Besides the Ventura story he also claimed to be on top of the Superdome after Katrina picking off looters and that he killed 2 guys trying to hijack his pickup…neither of these can be substantiated…in fact many of his stories are unsubstantiated. That may be why Ventura was awarded a settlement.
