Confusion Erupts in IRS Hearing After Lois Lerner Tries to Plead the 5th — Watch It All Unfold

“One of the basic functions of the Fifth Amendment is to protect innocent individuals, and that is the protection I am invoking today.”
WRONG!!!!
The purpose is not to protect the innocent……the purpose is to keep the guilty from having to tell the truth that would inCRIMEinate themselves. It puts the burden of proof on the courts and not on the individual being questioned.
Sort of like ……Na Na Boo Boo……you know I am guilty but you cannot prove it without my help.
Wait, Did the Inspector General Who Audited the IRS ‘Date’ Michelle Obama?

What is the point here? Am I missing something?

Do agents carry guns when interrogating suspects at the FBI facility?
You see, with all this over reach and corruption going on, we are all getting suspicious. I, for one, don’t trust anyone in government anymore.
Flashback: Want to See the Article Fox’s James Rosen Wrote That Led to the DOJ Snooping?
May 22, 2013 at 9:42am
It was never about Rosen. It was never about the AP. It is only about snooping as long as possible and getting dirt on whoever you can in order to discredit and smear.
Then of course, the real benefit of all this snooping………INTIMIDATION!!!!
Did it work? H3LL YES…………everyone is afraid to talk to any reporter now.
Why didn’t they target the leaker instead of the reporter? Simple. If you target the leaker then that doesn’t prevent other leakers. If you target the reporters then ALL leakers are afraid to leak.

But never fear, at least 50% see nothing, hear nothing, and believe nothing Obama does is wrong.

Ted Nugent’s Brother Endorses Gun Background Checks in WaPo Op-Ed: ‘The NRA Has It Wrong’ (Plus: Ted Responds)

Why is it that a person convicted of drunk driving can still go out and legally purchase a car?
Why is it that a person convicted of killing anther person while drunk driving can still buy a car?
He cannot license it and drive it but he can own it.
He can drive it illegally (and many do) but if he is caught, he will go back to jail.
Why should guns be any different? Let anyone buy one legally. If they abuse the right by hurting or killing someone, then lock their arse up. If they CARRY it on their person illegally then lock their arse up.
Explain why I am wrong here

Why is it that a person who is convicted of Driving Under the Influence can legally purchase a car, truck, or motorcycle? Afterall, they have proven they cannot be trusted.
What about a person convicted of KILLING someone while driving drunk? They can still BUY a car even though they have proven they have killed someone in the past by using the car.
They can illegally operate it (assuming they haven’t gotten their license back) and if the are caught and convicted again they will go back to jail. But the fact remains that they can BUY a car.
If gun buyers have to PROVE they are not criminals, then CAR buyers should have to PROVE they have not driven drunk or killed anyone with a car.
Think about it.
