Twobyfour: Thank you for the candy. Jesus took other’s sins upon him (just like the lambs Jews sacrificed to God) and even though he willingly sacrificed himself, Jesus was still a human sacrifice. ever wonder why he is called the Lamb of God? because he was a sacrifice.

It’s the piranha plant from Super Mario!

Yet Jesus was a human sacrifice for other’s sins…

2 points… First, there is no mention of a “creator” in the U.S. Constitution. There is, however, a mention of the creator in the Declaration of Independence, but that is not legally binding. Secondly, there is neither mention of marriage in the constitution, and I believe the 9th and 14th amendments cover the ability for homosexuals to get married, and not be limited by state legislation.

Way to counter the qutoes JZS just posted Luvmykids and Billy. Doesn’t Revelation 22:19 spell out that anyone subtracting from the bible will go to hell? As Jefferson HAD to have read the bible to piece together his own version (minus all the miracles, magic and divinity ascribed to Jesus) he must have read that passage and known the penalty for his transgression against the “holy word.” As an aside, David Barton has no credentials to speak of, so why does he get respect from you if you demand your opponents have credentials? Is it only because his world view matches up with your own? That is intellectual dishonesty.

Allah is the Prophet this I know, for the Qua’ran tells me so. The pantheon of Hinduism is true because the Vedas say they are. Wait, how did that logic work again?

@ THEPOSTMAN: They voluntarily removed it. It wasn’t removed from some legal ruling by the UAE. In your example, if the Muslim football team removed the crescent voluntarily, it would be considered an act of cultural sensitivity.

I think the Spitzer Weiner Hour would be a blast!

Perhaps the ad wasn’t aired because it just wasn’t very good? He is “alleging” they pulled it because of his faith, but have we heard any explanation from ESPN itself? Are we to assume every christian who has had their part cut from a commercial, television show, or movie has had it done on religious grounds?

I, for one, welcome our new robot overlords.

Did you read the article? The lionfish is a non-native species. It was introduced by pet owners who released the lionfish into the Caribbean ecosystem. It has no natural predators and is a threat to the reef.

Just bought a pair from them. It’s good to see good ol’ American capitalism at work. Do the same service for a cheaper price. Their pitch hooked me.
Their glasses are ugly as all get out. I love the free market, but seriously these glasses are awful looking on the design side.

She’s always been a kook, so I guess you can’t blame a kook for acting kooky. She couldn’t even represent herself in a relatively soft interview, how could the republicans in Delaware expect her to represent them?
I'm sure the democraps could represent them better.....YOU"RE STUPID!

God told Abraham to kill his own son. God also commanded Joshua to kill every Canaanite… there is a vast track record of God killing or commanding the killing of many people in the Bible. I think the point Penn is ultimately making is: what is more probable? That I am hearing the voice of an invisible almighty being, or it is a figment of my imagination. using Occam’s razor we would most likely think we were mistaken rather than hearing the actual voice of God

It would be great if she actually said that, but she said “[Paul Revere] warned the British they weren’t going to take away our arms”, which is obviously not true. Plus her answer was so bumbling and fumbling as the little hamster was spinning that wheel in her head, her body language made her look like she had no clue what she was talking about. If you can’t improv an answer, and at least with a little bit of authority, you have no business running the world’s most powerful country.

You do know that the point of a primary is that there are a lot of candidates that you whittle down to one, right? Then you can support the inner of the primary against Obama.

So if I should believe in God just because it’s more pragmatic than not believing, which religion should I believe? There have only been thousands of them all over the world, and they all claim to be the right one. If I have to choose to save myself from eternal torture I guess I’d lean towards Zorastrianism, but you have to admire the Muslim’s spunkiness.

Or just decriminalize/legalize the drugs without building a neo-Berlin wall…

Wow, did this kid just say that the earth is made mostly of carbon? Try oxygen and silicon. Did this boy genius ever take a basic earth science course? He never even touches on Hubble’s law, the premier bit of evidence for an expanding universe.
