  • Anyone over 70 should be required to take a yearly eye and driving exam.

Anyone over 80 should be banned from driving.

Either do that, or expect a lot more dead people across the country, especially as our population gets older.

  • “My dad is 93 and still is a very good driver. Better than most of the under 25 crowd. A medical emergency can strike someone at any age.”

True, but it’s more likely to strike someone of advanced age. That’s why these things happen in Florida all the time, lots of elderly down there. Your dad is selfish, and if he kills people, you will be to blame for not taking his keys away.

  • “You will be fighting, kicking, and screaming, defending your rights to come and go as you please.”

No only selfish people will do that…people more concerned with themselves than they are of little kids walking across the street. My grandma is 83, she shouldn’t be driving anywhere, she can hardly walk.

  • “Can I apply the same logic to guns and a classroom full of dead children?”

Nice try, but fail. Adam Lanza didn’t have a heart failure that caused him to accidently suddenly pull the trigger, he planned the murders well in advance.

    Another leftist fail.

  • “We must ban vehicles”

No, just people over 80 years old from driving.

  • “but now so selfish that they would rather kill ten young people than learn to do without a car”

You’re exactly right. It is selfishness. Elderly people know they don’t have the reflexes, vision, and mental capabilities that they once did and they shouldn’t be driving…but they do it anyway.

  • Who breaks into a home in Texas? How dumb to you have to be? Must be Obama voters.

  • Most of these bounty hunters are criminal themselves. Thugs, most of em.

Time to change the law there Florida.

  • The Nat Gas industry loves him because he wants to increase exports of natgas, at the expense of American homeowners.

In other words, you get screwed, but the gas companies get richer. Same boondoggle as the Keystone pipeline. Keystone wouldn’t be used to lower Americans fuel costs. Instead it simply moves Canadian tar sands oil to Texas to be refined and then loaded on ships to go overseas. Overseas buyers will pay more than Americans. Keystone will only keep domestic fuel prices high.

Don’t fall for the Keystone lie.

  • No, the bad news is this:

—”whether to approve a major expansion of U.S. natural gas exports”

Why export it? Use it domestically and lower the price of home heating. Oh, here it is:

—”exporting natural gas would benefit the U.S. economy even if it leads to higher domestic prices for the fuel.”

Translation = screw the homeowners and their heating expenses, and make the gas companies richer! No wonder the gas industry loves him.

It’s the same boondoggle as the Keystone pipeline. The pipeline isn’t meant to lower fuel prices for American citizens, it’s meant to ship Canadian oil to Texas to be refined and then loaded onto ships for sale overseas…there’s more money to make overseas.

And conservatives have fallen for the Keystone lie. Sad.
