Oh, the irony. And the even further irony of Holder supplying Mexican narco-terrorists with “military style” weapons to be used against each other, innocent Mexicans and us! Thanks you inveterate scumbag and POS! And justice for some!

Me too. And Publix hires handicapped individuals in many of their stores. No other supermarkets here in Florida or the other States I have visited can compare.

This story will come as no surprise to Rotti owners. I have had six Rottweilers in my life and have met many others. To a dog, they were sweet, intelligent (albeit stubborn) friendly and calm in nature. They are my favorite breed of dog. Keep in mind that their origination was as cattle dogs so they have a protective streak in them. And yes Monk, they can go through beef bones with rapidity.

But keep in mind Darmok, Anthony is a regular on Fox’s Redeye as well as being a long time talent on terrestrial radio thus he doesn’t have to be vulgar whilst broadcasting. The track record proves it.

In Tampa Bay we have a local shooting club which holds open practical pistol shooting competitions every Tuesday and Friday nights. Scenarios vary session to session and movement, firing around obstacles, reloading, and shooting at different distances and at different types of steel targets are all part of the drill. It is, in my opinion, excellent albeit not perfect preparation for those who want to gain competence with their sidearms.

He wasn’t attending a reunion as I understand it. Kyle and other SEALs were having a wake for fallen SEALs (Including Mike Mansour I believe). Ventura was visiting the area for a different UDT/SEAL related purpose and according to what I am led to believe was loudly berating the SEALs and US Govt. for conducting the war. Kyle claimed that he asked Ventura to “keep it down” in deference to fallen warriors family members and when Ventura ventured (yep I said it) to opine that “they should lose a few” or something similar, Kyle popped him one and then got the he11 out of Dodge. I suppose that you’ve never heard of John Kerry claiming that other Vietnam vets had murdered civilians or that Demonkrat Senator Dikhead Dustbin called U.S. troops Nazis, or the late Dem. Congressman (may he rot in He double toothpicks) John Murtha called fellow Marines murderers regarding the Haditha incident. (note: not one Marine has been brought to trial much less convicted of murder charges as a result of this incident).
“One could say that Osama bin Laden and these non-nation-state fighters with religious purpose are very similar to those kind of atypical revolutionaries that helped to cast off the British crown.” — Marcy Kaptur – Democratic Representative Ohio “Our troops overreacted because of the pressure on them, and they killed innocent civilians in cold blood.” — John Murtha smears the troops on Haditha “The Iraqis who have risen up against the occupation are not ‘

I was listening to Opie and Anthony the day a caller brought up the alleged fight when Chris Kyle was their guest. I was also listening previously the day that Jessie Ventura was a guest and had his altercation with Jim Norton of the show. Based upon Ventura’s support of conspiracy theories regarding the Federal Government and 911 as well as statements and positions he has taken about other issues including the Vietnam War I tend to lean toward Mr. Kyle’s version of events. Different people can witness different things depending upon their perspective of the event. Some might have clear views of the event, others might be getting a drink, coming out of a bathroom etc. as the event is unfolding.
I find it interesting that the case was brought in Minnesota where he was a former Governor rather than in NYC where the story went public or in San Diego where it allegedly occurred. Go figure!
Remember Benghazi and ALL the traitors!

You only need forgive those who are truly repentant.

It’s better to remain silent and be thought an idiot than to open one’s mouth (or in this case, one’s laptop) and remove all doubt. Anthony is a strong conservative voice on the show both culturally, constitutionally and economically. Opie is essentially apolitical and Jim is socially liberal but a huge supporter of the first amendment. I have NEVER, EVER heard any of them call conservatives or tea party members “haters”. They have called out Al Sharpton for the POS that he is on numerous occasions.

You have made the most ignorant comment so far. All three of them, Anthony, Opie and Jim Norton have consistently upheld the first amendment and have done so since I started listening to them back in about 2003 or so. They were about the only ones supporting Don Imus during the “nappy headed hoe” firing. Anthony is a consistent and died in the wool supporter of the 2nd Amendment as well. Hope they have to pay him through the end of his contract in October.

That is incorrect, riddler01. I will be at the Orlando show this weekend and I set up directly beside a very large ammunition seller from Georgia. There are no exterior tents in Florida, or the occasional shows which I have done in Georgia, Louisiana, N.C. or S.C. on occasion over the years. Some gun dealers have boxes of ammo for sale on the same table as handguns. No loose ammunition or loaded magazines are permitted. however.

I have been working at gun shows for twenty years in my secondary business. Of the approximately six incidents that I have been witness to whereby there was an “accidental” discharge, five of them were by show vendors. The phantom “somebody must have loaded it while my back was turned” excuse is bovine scatology. There are a few rogue dealers who for some reason feel the need to carry “loaded” in the show although every promoter I have ever dealt with clearly states in the rules that loaded weapons are prohibited except by law enforcement officials in uniform. Occasionally a person will just forget that their gun is loaded but that is the exception rather than the rule. That’s why I make it a point to unload and wire tie the weapon prior to entering the building and re-loading then refilling the mag only after I leave the building. Again, it’s usually the ego that causes these occurrences. Oh, and once there was a discharge when a cop dropped a bag of ammunition onto a table too forcefully. Just a one-in-a-million shot(pun intended). Go figure

Not true. I had 360,000 miles on my 2000 Ford Excursion before it was T-boned, very little non-standard maintenance repairs, 233,000 miles on an Aerostar van before that and currently have 220,000 on my 08 Expedition EL with “knock on wood” no major issues. The key is regular normal maintenance and keeping the oil changed with a top quality synthetic.

Kevin, I live in Tampa too. Allergy season is over, I’m just going to admit to getting emotional because it’s a touching thing and I wish to add that I hope that they live long and happy lives.

Dark_Night, it IS a very tough issue but who is to decide which cases are “very well proven” and by using what criteria? It’s a slippery slope and just like the abortion issue which I look at as a Constitutional issue…When does life begin? (The life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness thing), I believe that one must err on the side of caution. Let’s not kid ourselves that witnesses won’t recant upon occasion and it isn’t outside the realm of possibility to get or coerce two or even three “witnesses” to lie.

I am more conservative than most but these guys are entitled to every defense that is available to them. I am for the death penalty but they should get all due process. If the execution is carried out and they are later exonerated (and there have been cases of people on death row having their sentences overturned), how do you give them their life back?

  • [-2] June 3, 2014 at 9:36pm

Hi. Are you from the Orlando FL area?

  • June 3, 2014 at 9:26pm

I was involved in the infamous (to lawyers anyway) rock, paper, scissors case here in Tampa. It is frustrating and disappointing as to how often egotism and childishness come into play in our legal system.
