  KPeters59, I hope you don’t really belive that site. This was never mentioned in history over 200 years untili now under this president. Besides, if it were true, don’t you think that after over 200 years there would be more Muslim influence.What the founder really thought about Islam.

  It was quite witty of Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn., to short-circuit the hostility of those who criticized him for taking his oath on the Quran and to ask the Library of Congress for the loan of Thomas Jefferson’s copy of that holy book. But the irony of this, which certainly made his stupid Christian fundamentalist critics look even stupider, ought to be partly at his own expense as well.
  In the first place, concern over Ellison’s political and religious background has little to do with his formal adherence to Islam. In his student days and subsequently, he was a supporter of Louis Farrakhan’s Nation of Islam, a racist and crackpot cult organization that is in schism with the Muslim faith and even with the Sunni orthodoxy now preached by the son of the NOI’s popularizer Elijah Muhammad. Farrakhan’s sect explicitly describes a large part of the human species—the so-called white part—as an invention of the devil and has issued tirades against the Jews that exceed what even the most fanatical Islamists have said.Continued

  Sounds like you know what really happened in history and not the made up version. Funny, that over 200 years of American History, the version told by obama never showed until we got a Muslim president.

  Now when Ellison swore in by the Koran, did he believe was is said;this from when Jefferson and Adams asked the ambassador,why the cruelty. The ambassador answered us that [the right] was founded on the Laws of the Prophet, that it was written in their Koran, that all nations who should not have answered their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as prisoners, and that every Mussulman who should be slain in battle was sure to go to Paradise.

  Progressiveslayer, their called Useful Idiots. If you have never heard the term “useful idiot” it was the attitude held by Vladimir Lenin towards communist sympathizers in the West (America). While Lenin and the Soviets held them in utter contempt they also viewed them as tools for dispensing communist propaganda to other countries, thus infecting foreign cultures with their totalitarian tripe. After their mission was complete, they were no longer “useful.”
  This is being done to us through obama and his propaganda machine; OBAMA’S DISTAIN FOR AMERICANS AND THE WHITE RACE

  The character of any man is defined by how he treats his

  I bought and read Obama’s book, Audacity of Hope. It was
  difficult to read considering his attitude toward us and everything
  American. Let me add a phrase he use to describe his attitude toward whites.
  He harbors a “COIL OF RAGE”. His words not mine.
  THIS IS OUR PRESIDENT Is

  Everyone of voting age should read these two books by him:
  Don’t buy them, just get them from the library.

  Jefferson reported the ambassador’s response to Congress: “[That right] was founded upon the Laws of the Prophet, that it was written in their Koran, that all nations who should not have answered their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as prisoners, and that every Musselman who should be slain in battle was sure to go to Paradise.” Jefferson bought a copy of the Koran because he found it hard to believe that any religion could be as dark, dangerous, evil and wicked as this.   Jefferson never commissioned this, But Jefferson purchased a copy of the Koran not to celebrate the cultural richness of Islam but to figure out why Muslims were determined, against all principles of humanity in general and Christianity in particular, to rape and pillage innocent Christians who had done them no harm whatsoever.
  Now Jefferson did host a temporary Muslim envoy for dinner at the White House in 1805, and it happened to be during Ramadan. The envoy, who celebrated his Muslim-hood by requesting prostitutes as soon as he set foot on American soil, said he could not come at the scheduled time of dinner, 3:30 p.m., because of Ramadan, but could come after sundown. Not to mention that he would probably be occupied with his infidel call girl until then anyway.In fact, Jefferson was rather aggravated with this envoy and Muslims in general at this time. The whole reason this envoy was even in Washington, D.C. was because Muslim pirates had been raiding American ships for decades, plundering their cargo and selling captured sailors as slaves. Muslims overall sold more people into slavery — one million — than were involved in the entire history of the slave trade with the West.Jefferson himself, along with John Adams, had gone to London in 1786 to have a sitdown with the Muslim ambassador who represented the Barbary pirates of Tripoli.   The school’s referral slip said he was given an “emergency suspension” for being involved in an “incident” with a weapon. Lee County School District spokesman Alberto Rodriguez said in a statement that “If there is a potentially dangerous situation, Florida law allows the principal to suspend a student immediately pending a hearing. This statement is from the school and I can understand the policy,however this
  “incident” had to do with saving a life and the persons suspended,did the saving. Can’t this principle think for himself and realize this isn’t the same as a fight or any other disturbance. So these students who did the right thing have to suffer by missimg school. Are we becoming a nation of PANSIES?
