  I have bused tables, waited, bartended, and finally managed a restaurant in a former career.

  The server overreacted, but all of you coming down so piously on this girl should have to depend on tips for your living and have to wait on a 20 top table full of these AME Zion losers. They run you to death, all of them are holier than thou, all of them—I mean ALL OF THEM have the “I’m black and I damned well better get what I want–fast, whitey” attitude, and if you are lucky after having been “oh just one more thing-ed” to death they might leave you a dollar for the whole table. Because of taxes you actually LOSE money waiting on the table.

  We finally got to the point where we tacked on 15% when they came to eat as well, to keep the staff from quitting.

  By the way, all of you saying that tipping isn’t necessary obviously have never waited tables, and at some point in your life you should have. It gives you a better understanding of what these people go through, and it makes you a better person. Poor tipping is nothing more than I sign of boorishness.

  I see no reason to apologize at all. This is PRECISELY the way I felt Thursday. Actually it’s worse. 911 was the death of thousands of people and the destruction of a few buildings. Obamacare will directly lead to the deaths of many 100s of thousands if not millions of Americans.

  Not to mention the unstoppable power now bequeathed to the Imperial Federal Government. Federalism in the United States died on Thursday, folks.

  What possible reason could anyone find for celebrating July the 4th? It means nothing now. Out of apathy and complacency we have allowed our birthright to be stolen by philistines. All that is left now is the collapse of the temple.

  Chief, we are all in the same boat. I’m not crazy about Romney either, but I’ll tell you what–you better vote for WHOMEVER the Republicans trot out as a candidate, because if enough people feel the way you do and the Kenyan Kommisar gets four more years (Just think about that for a minute now. Think about how much damage he has done in just three.) we might as well start packing for the FEMA camps now.
