OK, let me try this: what if I’m eating a saltine cracker while calculating the slope of a line?

I ind it interesting that cracker was edited out of my post, but not slope.

What ever happened to the truth?
Technically speaking, there are three overarching classifications (races) of people: Mongoloid, ******* and Caucasoid. If we choose to refer to any member of either classification differently, then so be it. For example: people hailing from Japan can accurately refer to themselves as Japanese, Asians, Orientals or Mongoloids, just to name a few. Some descriptors, of course, are intended to be offensive or derogatory. For example: the word ‘slope’ in and of itself is not an offensive word but can be used to cause offense against a Mongoloid. The listener can choose to be offended just as easily as they can choose to understand that the use of the word (and the intent to offend) is only reflective of the poor character of the speaker.
Given the context of the article, I conclude that the use of the word ‘cracker’ by Mr. Rangle is indeed meant to cause offense — he is clearly not talking about a Saltine. Harboring no ill-will toward the Congressman, I have no desire to offend him by calling him a ‘******’; rather, I simply choose to recognize the low nature of his character, and I resolve to move on and fight the good fight.
I imagine some will take offense at one particular word in the previous sentence. Go ahead — it is, course, your choice.
