Rumor Check: Did ‘Duck Dynasty’ Star Phil Robertson Really Say A&E Asked Family to Tone Down Prayer and Guns? (We Talked to Them)

It was hilarious. He looks darker when he’s far away. The growl they kept playing over and over was great.
Winning High School Runner Disqualified for…Giving Thanks to God?
May 3, 2013 at 3:45pm
Since we have no video to judge, it’s tough to say but by their definition “The rules state there can be no excessive act of celebration, which includes raising the hands.” What is excessive? That means it’s open to a judges interpretation of what is and isn’t excessive. If it was a small gesture next to his head as they say, it’s not excessive. Sounds like someone looking for a reason to use the rules against someone.
Middle School Changes Policy After Student Sent to Office for Wearing ‘Support Our Troops’ T-Shirt…on an Army Base
April 25, 2013 at 10:16am
Everybody’s freaking out and don’t know any facts. Without seeing the policy everyone’s just jumping to conclusions. Sure, they should probably be able to wear patriotic shirts and they’ve changed the policy. It’s not like they refused and made a big deal out of it.
I had to stop my son this morning from wearing a church t-shirt to school. You’d think it would be allowed but their policy specifically states… collared shirts or t-shirts with school logo’s or school sports shirts etc. Pretty simple really. If you want to change policy, go for it but don’t make the teacher out to be some hater without more facts.
YouTube Prankster Tackled, Arrested for Doing Front Flip Over Cops in Viral Video — But Did He Break Any Laws?
March 21, 2013 at 11:53am
This is why I hate cops. These jagoffs spoil it for the good cops. It’s all about power. Take off the gun and badge and lets see who is on the ground. I got arrested for scratching the side of my head… disorderly conduct. Cop said I flipped him off while scratching my head. WOW
Obama Hat-Wearing Anti-Gun Protester Says She’d Rather Be Murdered Than Use a Gun in Self-Defense
February 28, 2013 at 2:55pm
She must not be a parent. I know I’d do anything to survive and not leave my kids orphans. Put herself in that situation I bet she’d be wishing for a gun. You tell me someone starts beating her down and knows she’s going to be killed she’ll just sit there and take it? I doubt it.
7 Common Weight-Related Myths Debunked (e.g. the Importance of Eating Breakfast)
January 31, 2013 at 1:44pm
These “studies” always crack me up. Losing weight and staying fit is simple but requires commitment. I’ve seen a couple good posts… eating every 2 hours is definitely good. I do it and it’s always worked for me. Pay attention to what you eat. A bag of Dorito’s isn’t a good choice.
Balanced diet, regular exercise and mixing it up is the key. Cavallo mentioned P90X. It’s awesome and a regular routine for me. One big reason, muscle confusion. One of the points of the study was that your body adapts. This is true so you can’t just walk every day or can’t just do the same routine. mix it up.. Bike, Walk, do some yoga, light weights. Whatever you can do.
ESPN Analyst Asks if Redskins Quarterback Is a ‘Cornball Brother’ Because He Has a White Fiancee and May Vote Republican
December 14, 2012 at 10:28am
RGIII has it right. He see’s himself as a person, not as a black man. Racism will only end when people stop categorizing themselves as different. Label yourself as different you’re setting yourself up to be treated different.
Obama Supporters Celebrate Election Victory: ‘No More Israel… F**k That Sh*t, Kill Those Mother F**kers’
November 8, 2012 at 11:13am
If you haven’t seen the movie Idiocracy… watch it. The population of ignorant people is growing by leaps and bounds. This isn’t just one sided either… it’s both sides. We just see mostly lefties on this site. Everyone tries to get the young vote… I suppose we could let them decide their own future but anyone who has kids knows they make foolish mistakes constantly. Our job as parents is to inform them so they make better choices and protect them from themselves. We’re not doing a good enough job.
You’ll Never Believe Which MSNBC Anchor Did Not Like Obama’s Victory Speech: Enough ‘Di**ing Around’
November 8, 2012 at 10:59am
Like Juan Hack Williams said the other night… Obama’s main goal is his legacy. You could tell by the look on his face after he said it he thought he shouldn’t have but it is what it is. Obama’s only goal is to make himself look good. He may decide to do some good for the country but not because the country needs it. It’s only for selfish reasons. We need people to serve the country, not themselves.
