I just noticed that. Thanks for pointing it out. Incompetence rears its ugly head everywhere, even at the Blaze.

No one needs 16,000 sq feet – unless they are taking in homeless people. Shame on them.

I suggest we all go to Canada!

The big god “science” always thinks it is infallible, that “it” knows everything, and of course, it is always proven wrong, and then must “modify”. I am not a proponent of the ‘out of Africa’ theory. it is only a theory and I have been active in genetic DNA genealogy.

I have absolutely nothing positive to say about the one who used her huge audience to boost Obama. Shame on her.

Time to shop with your middle finger!

Do I care? nope.

There must be other ways to display a God Bless America message – like a large ribbon on a tree? – or a sign in one’s window perhaps – or a small garden flag setup? I would find another way for sure.
October 5, 2013 at 12:48pm
You’ve got that right!
October 5, 2013 at 12:48pm
Yup, Shasta.Red.Banks is correct. Watch the lapdog media pant and drool over their next “assignment”.
October 5, 2013 at 12:46pm
Sorry, fire her butt.

I agree with TerryDo – just go do it Jan, just like the few conservatives who went out and physically removed the barricades from the WW2 memorial.

If one wishes to treat their pets with more love – like a family member, then they have a right to do so you have no say in the matter TomFerrari. In Europe, specifically Germany, dogs have been allowed to go into stores and restaurants and they are faring quite well. Civilization has been preserved and the people are surprisingly not dropping like flies due to their exposure to other people’s dogs.

SDNW: I never thought in a million years that Russia would have more moral decency and religious tolerance than the western world.
Ain’t that the truth? Putin is expelling moslem radicals and has chastised the western world not to persecute Christians. Who would have thought that Russia would become the beacon of light?

I agree with Steadyon.
I have terminal cancer and I would not, and do not want, any “final moments’ or anything else posted about me. That’s pandering to voyeurism and it is disgusting.

Life is not going to rearrange itself to accommodate one’s “attention span”. How about teaching patience? It will come in handy in Life, which quite frankly, is a bitch.
Can u say MICHEAL HASTINGS.................PERIOD.
I thought the same thing. I was trying to remember his name then there it was in the article.
When will people realize that we are merely pawns in the game of the elites that control everything in our lives.
The problem is that it's not a game for their amusement............it's a game of life and death, money, power, and control.
@ paperboy ........My thoughts exactly
Mine too! That was no accident.
It can definitely be hacked, it's called a wrench. Many of the hacks these guys performed would be more easily managed directly instead of dealing with the computer.
80K to find out computers can be hacked?
Of course Hastings.....My sister told me she could not post the Hastings Link on her FB.........FB is making money from Obama.......Obama will not let his daughters have a FB because of the child predators etc.......and now The Blaze is hard for me to blog on............We here at The Blaze are the smartest in this country.........We bloggers know when we smell a RAT.......and Hastings was an Obama job.......Heck they drug young girls in night clubs, so why wouldnt some liberals kill Hastings........Its because we are the Smartest here at The Blaze........PERIOD.....!!
Off Topic.........If you can sit at the capitol for Treyvon........Why cant you spend your time in Oklahoma helping them rebuild.......Just a thought....Godless people.
I agree with Kyled.
I can think of a few "analog" hacks on that car. You could cut the break line with a leak so that as soon as breaks are applied it begins to leak. With in about 20 minutes the breaks would completely fail.
You could run a wire from the starter line into the diesel gas tank. Upon ignition it would burn "slowly", the entire car would be engulfed in a few minutes to ninety seconds, but if at the same time you disengaged the indoor handles by clipping the wires to the latch you would not be able to exit in time, especially if you also stripped the window roller.
The easiest mechanical hack, you could add stickum or putty to the throttle lever in the motor compartment so the the throttle sticks and doesn't decelerate. That along with a simple razor wedged against the break line you have yourself a rolling death trap.
Cars were being hacked in assassinations long before we started equipping them with computers.
The IRA was made famous for their ability to "hack" a car to explode; according to many of the IRA henchmen that were later caught, they were able to apply such hacks in under fifteen seconds. They would run a fuse on a stick of dynamite to the muffler. Once the cars running and the muffler heats up it would light a fast burning fuse. All they needed was two pieces of duct tape. One to tape the dynamite under the drivers compartment, and one to tape the end of the fuse to the muffler.
Sorry, but you can not "hack" the brake system, even if you shut down the anti-lock system, the braking system still functions normally, that is unless they made all braking systems computer controlled (fly by wire) after I quit turning wrenches in "04.........Also read carefully, they accessed through the cars "on-star" like cell system, without that feature, you cant hack a damn thing on a car remotely without physically tying into the cars computer system.......
@Gryffn: Except that by the articles logic, it can. Cut the brake line. That's an instant hack. Lift the hood and mess with the engine, hacked again. Pour sugar in the gas tank. Another hack.
This isn't hacking. They plugged into the diagnostic port and changed how the vehicle operates. There's nothing new about this at all. Even the wireless "hacking" that the article mentions isn't a vulnerability. Big deal, you can make it play a CD via a wireless connection. So what?
Show me someone that can do what they did from outside the car in a remote location. Then I'll get worried. Until then, this is nothing more than sensationalism. Or are you really going to let someone sit in the backseat of your car, while you're driving it, with a computer hooked to that port? If you are, you're stupid.
I call BS. The on board ECU in my '06 SUV has an "anti-roll" system. It can both disengage or apply the breaks when the CPU determines the vehicle has a high degree of tilt or G-Force. I've felt it work entering into a corner with breaks fully pressed; suddenly they "slip" and the anti-roll light beeps on the dash. I've also felt it apply the breaks entering hot into a corner.
Simple enough, it's called OnStar.
If you don't think OnStar, and similar remote assistance systems, has access to every CPU in a car you are naive.
"Smart" cars are a computer network, and rather simple unprotected one at that. If they can remotely start your car, see how much is left in the tank, or recommend you inflate your tires they are in the system and any hacker worth his salt can easily gain access to rest of the network.
Give me the budget and assets of the DHS and I'll give a demonstration.
OK FOLKS so since every car will have to have a black box. Will our government have control over these same car functions? So our government could have a "right-winger" drive into a group of children walking through a cross walk. Ok.. so NOW I'm understanding the connection with these government funded techy bozos. They are funding this research for a purpose. These idiots JUST SPELLED IT OUT FOR US.
My transportation is hacker proof. My horse will kick you for sure.
Ditto on Michael Hastings. He was the first person to come to mind....We are so screwed.
Kind of makes you wonder whos driving an Escape or Prius that the Pentagon want's whacked. What's the number or registered Republic voters that drive these? Takes voter fraud to a whole new level ;-)
Terrifying...unless you notice a stranger in the beat seat with a tablet/computer tethered into the port under the steering wheel. Or you notice something plugged into the port. If you do see someone in the backseat plugged into your port OR a device plugged in the port...unplug it. There feel better? Good wasn't that terrifying was it. Now why are people trying to scare you with this ya you can but why would you story? I see a car-hack detector for sale direct from the Blaze, the only anti-auto-hack detector Mr..Beck will endorse. Be afraid, it sells so well.
Yeah Hastings was MURDERED!!

Can u say MICHEAL HASTINGS……………..PERIOD
Rewatch the video then when the youtube videos come on after go through them. There's one (came up in lower right corner after I watched it once) that says Michael Hastings....con. officer..... When I watched it, a former national security officer is telling them this sounds exactly like what happened to Michael Hastings, and to look at cell phone records to see if he got a call right before, to advise him to get on the road right away before there was much traffic. It points out the NSA has the content of that call (if made) and Mercedes should sue for it to prove their cars don't explode in flames from a front end crash.
I'm almost sure that is what happened to Michael Hastings who had a HUGE story about Obama and the NSA he was working on and his Mercedes went out of control and smashed into a tree.

Unless you've heard about an OnStar commercial that they can send a signal to Unlock your car doors, or turn your lights off remotely. Same technology is wireless, hack into OnStar or whichever is installed on car at manufactured, and you have the computer. Think it's never been set up? Can they turn your computer on when you have it shut down? Didn't we just hear them admit to doing so for the NBC reporter Cheryl Atkinson? EXACT SAME TECHONOLOGY! If OnStar can do it, could the gubmint do it?

Think Paul Harvey: The rest of the story! ^^^ Once they've done the hack, and set up the accident, hack the black box and record something to make it look like you've intentionally run over someone, slammed into another vehicle.... The possibilities are endless, and think what the mob in the white house could do to the reputations of their enemies with those hackable black boxes!
Exactly...The cars with a BCM (Body Control Module) would be effected.
Just remember that journalist Michael Hastings was not assassinated. His engine was 200 feet behind his car (from an explosion), but he didn't die until he ran into a tree on purpose. Just keep thinking that.
MICHEAL HASTINGS and the Italian Train. I wouldn't put anything past this fraud and criminal admin. Fast and Furious, Benghazi, etc.
I really believe that the 'cash for clunkers' was a diabolic lib idea to get rid of every older car; by smashing these cars the car parts couldn't be used to keep older cars running. California junk yards are not allowed to have any older parts for 1996 (or around this year) and older…..

They are so busy being “smart”, that at least one of them, former Democratic Congressman Harold Ford, Jr., needs remedial English grammar, and proves himself the “dumb” one..
The sentence should be: If it WERE visible from parts of her property.

This is infuriating to one who has metastatic breast cancer.
