If I were the judge I would award him every penny he’s asking for and then some. Further more I would order that the half money come from the police dept’s budget with the other half to be paid by the the offending officer & his supervisor, out of their own pockets!!! Once these uniformed dirtbags realize that the cost of bullying and willfully violating the rights of law abiding citizens comes with a hefty price tag and that the money will come directly out of their own pockets, not from the innocent tax payers, crap like this will stop! right quick!

Steve Irwin and I would have had some serious ideological differences, but he was someone that I truly respected. R.I.P. Steve. You are missed!

This is a small point, but it’s one that needs to be made. The people writing these stories and making these complaints need to learn a little about helicopters! Every story I’ve read about this matter complains or at least mentions that the SEALS were riding in a CH-47 Chinook and then calls it a slow “lumbering transport helicopter.” NEWSFLASH! Yes, the Chinook is primarily a transport helicopter, but there is nothing slow or lumbering about it! The version used by SOCOM has advanced terrain following radar, can fly at 196mph and will easily outrun an AH-64D Apache Longbow Attack Helicopter (top speed 182mph)! Is that one a ‘lumbering’ helicopter too? The only other real options would have been a UH-60 or MH-60 Blackhawk (183mph). The Chinook will easily outrun those too.

Come on people, we all want to know what happened to those brave men, but let’s not invent a scandal where there isn’t one! The Chinook is a good helicopter that’s been used by special forces for decades. It wasn’t the problem. Let’s focus on the things that really could have gotten our people killed and not waste time on fictitious problems.

There’s one major difference between this & McCarthyism. McCarthy was right!!! Leftists are wrong about everything.

Well, given that the vast majority of the slaughter has been perpetrated on black & Hispanic children it’s pretty safe to say that most of them would have eventually grown up to be Democrat voters.

The haters on the Left are never going to leave that man alone. Phil Robertson is everything the Left despises, a hard working successful white Christian male who puts his devotion to God above being politically correct and couldn’t care less what they think about it. He is also exactly what this country needs if we are ever to resurrect the greatness we once had!!!!!

That’s one of the main reasons why I’ll never get rid of my dog. Once they’re out of your hands you just don’t know what will happen to them! My Baby is far too important to me to ever allow her to end up like that. I sincerely hope someone adopts both of those two dogs and gives the a good loving home for the rest of their lives!

I have to say that I am extremely disappointed with The Blaze! Is this site going to turn into the same BS, politically correct, “news” site as the rest of the media?! It’s sure looking like it. These weren’t just “teens”, and it’s not just “teens” doing this. They are young (and not so young) BLACKS!!! No one else is playing this barbaric & sadistic “game”; it’s a violent and deadly “game” that is only played by black people, and the victims are almost universally white. (Although an Asian or two have been targeted as well.) This is all about race. Racist blacks are randomly attacking whites “for fun”. For The Blaze to leave that out is journalistic malpractice! In other cities it’s called “Polar Bear Hunting”, and it’s been escalating for nearly five years now without being reported on by anyone in the main media. is the only news source that’s been documenting this deadly “game”, and now it’s disgusting to see The Blaze committing the same kind of journalistic malpractice as the rest of the Lamestream ******* Media.

Both of those things have already happened multiple times! It’s just not being reported.

So what are you doing to protect & conserve wildlife? I know what hunters are doing. Hunters pay for nearly everything related to wildlife conservation. In fact 95¢ out of every dollar spent on wildlife research & protection and habitat conservation and to pay for all those “Fish & Game” and “DNR” agencies that actually do the work of protecting wildlife comes directly out of the pocket of sportsmen, 95¢ out of every dollar. How much money are you contributing? In Africa that number is much closer to 100¢ out of every dollar!

In Africa sportsmen pay for all of the wildlife research & conservation, all of the anti-poaching patrols and all of the habitat protection & restoration. In countries like Kenya that have banned hunting there is no wildlife outside of the national parks. While in countries like Kenya’s neighbor and premier safari destination Tanzania wildlife is abundant everywhere…just like it was in Kenya until they banned hunting. Without the safari industry there is no one to pay for anti-poaching patrols. There is no one to hire local rural Africans & to provide them with a source of both income and fresh meat which means they turn to poaching to survive.

Hunters do more to ensure the survival of wildlife for future generations than all the animal rights organizations & ignorant internet whiners have ever done or will ever do. If we lose hunting & hunters we lose wildlife, period.

BTW, nothing is ever wasted in Africa, not the meat, not even the

Come on guys. Don’t engage the trolls. They’re not smart enough to understand your comments anyway, and they aren’t worth the time even if they were!

  • November 7, 2013 at 2:09pm

I realize all this may be new to you, and you just don’t understand much, but ridicule is one of the most powerful weapons available to dethrone our would-be dictator and turn him into nothing more than a completely impotent bad joke. What Brad & Carrie did at the CMA Awards did more damage to Obama than any 100,000 keyboard warriors like you!

    You are absolutely right!

Note to The Blaze staff: Those “Ruger .45 semi-automatic pistols” in the picture aren’t Rugers. They’re Remingtons.

Actually the number is about 2.1 once you account for vacation/sick days, but that’s such a small increase as to be practically irrelevant!

“… I have an extra gun AND AN EXTRA SAFE, why not put it in their closet?”

I guess the reactionary IDIOTS on the Left just don’t quite understand the concept of a gun SAFE!!!!! My god these people are stupid! Just plain MORONS!

Personally I always have a loaded firearm within arms reach even when at home, always. (Seriously, even if you come at me while I’m in the shower you’re still going to get perforated.) But the reality is that most people aren’t going to bother with that. Staging firearms around the home in the places where they are most likely to be needed is an excellent idea, and a GunVault safe (especially a biometric model) bolted to a closet shelf is totally secure from young children but still available to an adult with the code (or the proper fingerprint) almost instantly.

The truth is that the lying bastards on the Left, most of them anyway, know that already. They just think that you’re too stupid to figure it out and that they can use this to paint gun owners as uncaring & reckless! (Wait until they see the video where he tells school teachers to teach their students that hiding in the corner is not the way to survive a school mass murder, but to instead teach them to run at & attack a school killer all at once. Their heads will absolutely explode! The FACT that Rob is exactly right right will mean nothing to them!)

BTW, for you guys who spend a lot of time in the bush during the warmer months of the year a good pair of heavy leather boots or, even better, a good pair of specifically designed snake-proof boots are a really good idea! I still have a pair of old combat boots from when I was 14 that have a pair of fang marks from a large copperhead on the right heal. Had I been wearing rubber boots or tennis shoes that day it would have been a very bad day for me! But because I was wearing sturdy leather boots all I got was an interesting souvenir an a good story to tell!

Although a bite from any of North America’s venomous snakes is rarely deadly (contrary to what the doctor in the story said) having a good bite kit on you when a rattlesnake, copperhead or cottonmouth bites you can indeed be very helpful. However, there’s something that needs to be added to this story: Not all snakebite kits are a good thing, and many are down right DANGEROUS!!! The Extractor kit used by the man in this story is a good kit. I’ve carried one since my Boy Scout days, & it is the only one I would recommend. If used properly & immediately it can reduce the amount of venom in the victim’s body.

However, most of the cheaper snakebite kits, such as the commonly encountered kit from Coghlan’s Outdoor Gear (and any of a dozen others just like it), are worse than worthless; they are dangerous! If your kit has a razor blade or a scalpel in it THROW IT AWAY! Never, I repeat, NEVER cut open the wound! By doing so you’re only compounding the injury & making things worse. And for God’s sake never try to suck out the poison with your mouth! If you do and you have a cavity or a small sore in your mouth you will envenomate your head, and that’s about the worst thing you can do!

Either spend the few extra dollars ($10-$25) to get an Extractor kit like one used in the story or don’t get one at all. You’re better off with no kit than with the wrong kit!

They are knowingly & intentionally aiding & abetting an enemy of the United States! How is that not treason?!?!?!? I can guarantee you that if you or I did what Barack Hussein Obama is doing right now we would end up in prison for the rest of our lives!
