Finally a black man who isn’t afraid to speak the truth and stand up to those who refuse to deal with the real problems in the black community which has nothing to do with skin color and everything to do lack of character and the sin nature of mankind(all races and ethnic groups). God bless Steven A.!!!!

Glenn Beck is one of the few who has the courage to speak truth to power.God bless him!!
??? Glenn Beck is nothing more than a glory-hound & after watching him for some time now, I'm convinced he's a sniveling coward. He is the perfect example of a "moderate". His convictions are for sale to the highest bidder. What is a half-truth? A WHOLE LIE!!! The truth about his "great American" Abe Lincoln is Abe was a racist, a Federalist, & liar. The cotton gin was already making slavery obsolete, Consider also every Western nation before us had ended slavery without bloodshed... rather than avoid wholesale slaughter of 650,000 "soldiers",(many of which were 12 years & even younger), untold horrors, rapes, the murder of civilians, & all senseless as every war since.
Yes, I am Southern, born & raised. And I honestly have no idea what a "racist" is. I've been blessed to travel the world & our nation. And have enjoyed the company & insights from every skin color God has given us. But ignorance sickens me-& esp. so if I hear some white fool act scared the second someone calls him racist. And Beck wants to teach a watered down version of history, even when the truth is so easy to find. Beck- there is only one truth, Jesus Christ Lord of lords. If you're Mormon, you live a lie. Muslims are ALL taught by Koran to chop heads & murder Jews & Christians. Not the radicals. ALL of them. So, Gweber, stick with your G-Man, hope he's on your TV telling you it's OK when the StormTroopers' Standard Issue Kick your door in
@Ded-Bred: Before a I address your entirely false beliefs that Mr. Beck is a liar, that President Lincoln was a racist and that the LDS church is not a Christina church. I must ask why do you think that being a Federalist is a bad thing? Our entire Constitution is based on Federalism, Federalism is the system that when actually applied is one of the strongest protection we have of our rights. Have you not heard of the Federalist Papers?
Wow, Ded-Bred, I haven't heard so much hatred come from one person since the last time I saw the Westboro Baptist Church at a funeral. Wait.... I might have heard such hatred in Iraq. Its tough to discern which are more hateful. But you definitely, with one paragraph, top both.
You say, "The truth about his “great American” Abe Lincoln is Abe was a racist, a Federalist, & liar"
Then you go on to say, "I honestly have no idea what a racist is". That part is evident. And you don't know what a Federalist is, if I could throw that in there. You might want to consider not using words you don't understand.
DED-BRED.... i had to sop reading your post when you said--->
""The cotton gin was already making slavery obsolete,""
""Due to its inadvertent effect on American slavery, the invention of the cotton gin is frequently cited as one of the ultimate causes of the American Civil War.""
and you say you're from the South ...lol
DED-BRED....Sad that it took you 3/4 of a wasted paragraph to finally admit what your real beef w/ Beck is...that he's a Mormon. Not hard to spot a bigot. Very sad.
@ Dedbred Really... " If you’re Mormon, you live a lie." How many Mormons tell you that you religion is an absolute sham?? And if they do then they are not following the faith fully because it's taught to have religious tolerance, where is your Christian behavior? God bless you, we are all God's children regardless of or faith.

I believe the Bible is the Word of God! There are millions of American Christians who believe the same thing. That doesn’t make them racist! The Bible is God’s description of the human condition(sinful) and the solution which is faith in the redeeming action of Jesus Christ when he died on the cross! John 14:6 “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” The Bible history and secular history are full of instances of slavery of all races enslaving all other races!! It is sadly part of the human condition(that sin that we previously mentioned). The freedom that comes with faith in Christ will free the soul and cause one to want all men to be free!!!

I am one person left on the earth who believes every word of the Bible!! The Bible is the Word of God! That does not mean that I am a racist or ignorant or any other negative description that people like Lawrence O’Donnell want to lay on Christians. The truth is, he shows his ignorance. The Bible is among many things an accurate description of the sinfulness of the human race and God’s plan to redeem mankind! “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6 The practice of slavery is and has been worldwide, practiced by all races on black, white and brown!
So you believe in the story of the guy living in the whale for a few days, talking snakes, people rising from the dead, etc... And then you wonder why atheists come to this site to mock you.
There is absolutely no way you believe every word. You and anyone else who did would be in jail. Do you believe rapists should marry their victims, while only paying restitution to the family as punishment? Do you believe that females are to be kidnapped and raped as spoils of war? Do you think that non-virginal females ought to be put to death? Do you believe non-Christians ought to be murdered for their unbelief?
Either you admit all of this savagery is true and divinely warranted by God or you must acknowledge that morality exists outside of God and religion. If you do believe in these things, I'd love to hear your defenses of rape, murder and pillaging.
I believe the Bible 100%.
@Remember_Benghazi The bible doesn't say that. Your misinterpreting it, just like every other know it all atheist. BTW, most modern bible translations are inaccurate. It's stupid to use modern terms to explain ancient customs.
"If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found; "Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days."
This is talking about men who entice a woman to lie down with them. The verse says "they be found". Meaning, that both are guilty. The women in this instance did not put up a protest or cry for help but fell for the smooth talking or whatnot of the man. Wherefore, the Bible requires that they both get married, since they both engaged in an act only permitted within marriage. In the Bible, marriage is patriarchal, wherefore the father had the final say, if, his daughter lived under his house (authority). The father always had the right to refuse any engagement, and most fathers would only betroth their daughters with consent, not forcefully. This was a protection for women against men who would have sex with them, impregnate them, and then leave off never to take care for the women or child. It has nothing to do with rape, regardless of what new liberal bible translations say.
