I used to frequent Panera bread but now, I will go elsewhere. What amazes me is that they think that somehow their “warmth” will protect me and their other customers. In all honesty, the only protection in today’s world is good guys/gals with guns to counter the bad.

They know that, they just need a scape goat to redirect the public’s anger away from them. Can you say “Rules for Radicals”?
The ignorance of the lefties has long been an issue.

Yea, sometimes people speak before thinking. Usually in those instances, the truth of their thoughts is revealed.

Though both parties are detestable, if you don’t want a continuance of the Odumbo era, you will still unfortunately have to vote Republican in most instances. Thankfully, not all districts are as bad as Mississippi. If we keep fighting, we will eventually replace these RINOs with true patriots but just as it took 100 years for it to get this bad, it will take decades at best to make it better. Patience and perseverance are required to win the final race.
If all else fails, let's hope for a write-in victory for McDaniel. It worked against us in Alaska, maybe it will work for us in MS!

So, am I to assume you are going to vote Democrat? Though both parties are detestable, if you don’t want a continuance of the Odumbo era, you will still have to vote Republican in most instances. If we keep fighting, we will eventually replace these RINOs with true patriots but just as it took 100 years for it to get this bad, it will take decades at best to make it better. Patience and perseverance are required to win the final race.
I would rather die in a fire or acid vat than vote for a democrat. If that puts it into perspective.

AMEN! The arts can fund themselves.

Yes, please defund this and all other ridiculous wastes of money. If we had been doing it all along, we might not be in such a mess!

So, they dropped the provision that would have eliminated the need to go through the local sheriff to get a permit to buy a gun, however, I can move into the state and bring my guns and I do not need a permit. Where is the logic in that! Oh, I get it. They want to keep the gun retailers minimized. Force everyone to buy out of state.
If you're wondering why no one has responded to your post, it's probably because it no one knows what they he!! your talking about. No permit by a Sheriff doesn't mean you can't purchase a handgun from a local store. It would actually improve local gun sales.
ROT, no permit required by sheriff means NICS check at point of sale.
Please review the next to last line in this report that you're bitc$in' 'bout - "The final bill dropped a controversial provision that would have repealed the long-standing law requiring a background check and permit issued by county sheriffs for handgun purchases.
The provision to repeal the required background check & permit issue WAS DROPPED. Ergo (I know big & strange words...go look it up), it is still law.
You had to go through a background check to get those guns in the other state so why would NC make you do another one? You are intentionally being stupid with this comment or you didn't give it one shred of thought before posting. Every gun sale in NC requires a NICS check, even if you have already gotten the purchase permit from the Sheriff, so the PPP is unnecessary and is just used as a source of income for the department. Private sales would still have required a purchase permit or concealed carry permit, both of which require background checks to obtain. Don't believe the fear mongering media, especially WRAL.
GWINF is correct. You need to go to a sheriffs office and buy a $5 purchase permit before you can purchase a handgun in NC.
The NCSA (NC Sheriff's Assoc) which is a liberal lobbying group and does not speak for many NC Sheriffs did not want the PPP repeal for two simple reasons: power and money. They did not want to give up their permit fees, which coincidentally, were set to increase very soon.
In addition, corrupt Sheriffs would deny people permits with no legal basis. The Republicans outsmarted this hack group by keeping the PPP and making uniform standards for ALL NC Sheriffs to follow. It makes NC Sheriffs accountable.
The NCIS system is current and more effective over the outdated PPP background checks.
The NC Republicans have tackled tough issues and cleaning up the crap from the Democrat governors and legislatures of the past. They are setting NC on track for more prosperity, better business environment, ensuring the integrity of our voting system and protecting women's health (learning from the Gosnell horrors). The whining, howling and rending of garments by liberals is both amusing and refreshing.

If there is a solid conservative that will run against Graham, I will move to S.C. to cast my vote. We must replace these progressive fools like Graham, McCain,Collins, etc.

I will move to S.C. to get rid of Lindsey Graham. What good is it to control the Senate if we are stuck with the likes of Graham, McCain, Collins, etc.? Time to take out the trash!
