  • If every single person on here and all the other places with commentary like this took his precious time and joined the GOP as an active member, learning how to campaign for other good people and oneself, we would give the GOP the necessary backbone to stick with its stated principles (small govt, low taxes, Constitution) and defeat the leftists and the Establishment panderers. We could force out all the Compromisers. Will we do it or just use our time to holler how bad the Bad Guys are (duh)?

  • Yet another BS article stating we have to change. I’ll go this far and say that we do need to have politicians saying less about abortion and “gay” “marriage.” And that we need to get churches more involved (declaiming against the SINFUL Dem game plan of envy and covetousness–’steal from the rich’– and telling their parishioners it is their DUTY to sacrifice and get involved in local politics), instead of their becoming less and less relevant to our political life. But having worked my way a bit inside the GOP, I can tell you that the Dems just had a much better ground game, with poll watchers and door knockers, than we. That’s because no one, especially the Tea Party (who ought to know better) does NOTHING to help, just a lot of talk, when they should be joining the GOP as active members so we’ll have real clout.

  • It’s bad on the one hand if done for PC reasons (and I assume it is), but on the other hand, we need to have more Americans with basic knowledge of the enemy’s alphabet, language etc for obvious reasons. I don’t think many sane children will choose a retrograde 14th century kulture over ours just by exposure to their language. As a parent in the district or a school board member I would continuously monitor the program to make sure it’s not being used as a propaganda tool by bad guys or useful idiots. I take my supportive comments back immediately if no one is willing to keep a quiet & careful watch over this.
