  • “Gun ownership is a minority activity,” if true so what. Homosexuality is a very “minority activity” care to use the same line of logic Laurence? Why not apply that to the homosexuality argument because I am getting tired of hearing about it day after day after day.

I remember a long time ago a large portion of the colonies did not want to take up arms against Britain because at the time Britain’s military and navy were the worlds most dominant force.

  • So they gave McCain flowers for voting for a bill that if it became law would not have prevented the shooting in Tucson. Congratulations to the Forrest Gump of Legislatures. Only if the mental records of people who are declared mentally unstable are entered into the background check system will any expanded background checks ever have any meaningful effect. The nut in Tucson legally purchased his gun and passed a background check. The problem was the family was unable to deal with his mental state and his own father took away his shot gun not knowing he had a firearm. Passing additional background checks does nothing.

  • Female student is getting the attention she so desperately needed and her parents have to be so proud of her. If there is nothing wrong with it why did she not dress as Mohammed and naked from the waste down with a crescent and star in her public hair? If she is upset with Catholics she must be really upset with Muslims since the last time I checked I don’t think Catholics were preaching killing homosexuals, subjugating women, beating women, etc. etc.

  • Facebook takes down a gun stores web page for promoting an gun give away but allows this? Facebook yanks right of center content but allows this? Come on!

  • So lets see if the Feds get involved since a “sawed-off shotgun” is against Federal Guns laws. Anyone what to bet the Feds are going to the enforce gun laws on the books?

  • Easy fix just put the house on wheels and no longer a structure. Does not have to move just make so it can be rolled.

  • There is not discrimination, fat people have a tendency to have higher medical costs. Why do people think medical costs are going through the roof at the same time people are getting fatter and fatter? Just think about a person who lugs around an extra 40-50 pounds for 30-40 years, it has to have a negative effect on the body. I have a brother who will do nothing about his excess 80 pounds, just eats crap all the time and too much food. His knees’ hurt, his shoulder hurts, has to have a CPAP machine, etc, etc. That all is going to cost money down the road. So if you want to be fat you should pay for the increased cost down the road. Consider it the same as the fuel tax when you buy gasoline, the more you buy the more you pay. In this case the more you weigh the more you pay. Don’t like it, get in shape or eat less. Kind of like if you don’t like high fuel costs get a more fuel efficient car or a bike.

  • Go Cruz go! Keep jumping in their wheel house and making the points you are making. The public may finally awaken and pay attention to what they are doing.

Yea that is right “… I’ve been here for a long time.” yes you have. You have been there as trillions of dollars in debt have been racked up. You have been there as trillions of dollars wasted on the war on poverty with the same poverty rate today as there was 50 years ago. Maybe Feinstein needs some refresher courses on the Constitution.

    Go Cruz, go!

  • How about having these air shows and having the attendees pay for it. Have them, don’t have them does not bother me. If this is what it takes to get the government to stop spending I don’t care. It the air shows are so critical then ad the price to cover the show to the tickets. That is a true market driven event. Why should all the tax payers pay for a show only 15,000-20,000 people get to see at a time. So people what government subsidized airshows? This is the problem no one wants a cut but they want the government to cut spending. Agree this is total BS but it has to start sometime.

  • Who would answer a survey from a complete stranger and say yes or no if they owned a gun or had a gun in the house? I have had friends who do and don’t own guns talk about their doctors asking them if they have a gun in the house. Of course the gun owners who don’t get pissed off and leave the doctors office almost always say no. Kind of like asking do you have large amounts of money in your house, who is going to answer that question?
