  Discussing this subject is a waste of time. The fruit loops and tyrants will always try for your guns. It doesn’t matter what the Constitution says, or the fact that the Supreme Court has ruled that the police have no requirement to protect you… bottom line, I don’t need a “Bill of Rights” to grant me the authority to posses firearms and to protect myself and family by any and all means necessary…. to include protecting myself from someone trying to place me in a position where I can not provide food or protection for my family in the first place. These are part of the basic God given rights that we each are born with. For the sake of the future of all humanity, I truly hope that the liberals realize that this is not the issue to try to push to the wall…

  Some of you are truly missing two of the main reasons to minimize any limitations on firearms. First, I think we can agree that the constitutional intent was to be able to protect yourself from personal attack and government tyranny. Having said that, please understand that it is logistically impossible for the police to be able to protect everyone, and the Supreme Court has made several rulings that the police are not even required to protect you. So, if our police are allowed to posses a certain of weapon to carry out their duties, at a minimum we should be allowed to have the same weapons for the same reasons. Finally, and with regard to protection from government tyranny, let me fist add that as a retired law enforcement officer, I have the utmost respect for the police, but the simple truth is that if our government were to attempt to carry out acts of tyranny on it’s people, the police will be the main source to initiate this… so again, at a minimum, we need to be able to posses the exact same weapons our police use…. without exception!

  By severing ties with “Chic-fil-A”, the Jim Henson Company is politicizing our childhood memories, and more importantly, it is displaying it’s obvious un-inclusive attitude and total disdain for diversity and lack of acceptance for anyone who does not agree with their philosophy. Show me where “Chic-fil-A” has engaged in this type of discriminatory practice and I will be with you 100%… until then…. “shame on you”…. “the whole world is watching!”…. HYPOCRISY!

  I might could go for not having the same weapons the Military uses… but it is physically impossible for the Police to provide protection for everyone, and the Supreme Court has ruled they are not required to provide protection for anyone. Additionally, any tyranny brought about by our Government would most likely be carried out by the Police force, and as a 25 year retired law enforcement member, and having the utmost respect for the force, I am compelled to declare that our citizens must be allowed to posses the exact same weapons as law enforcement agents without exception, so that we, as individuals, may protect ourselves from all threats to our individual safety and liberty…
