  NH Winter, Please know what the you are talking about before you open your mouth. Cubans are not coming here to spread Communism! 95% of Cubans living in the US are REPUBLICAN! I should know I live here in Miami (though I’m a redneck from the Midwest) with a Cuban fiancee and close to a lot of her relatives. Most Cubans came here fleeing the very thing you are accusing them of spreading! My father-in-law was a political prisoner of Castro because he stood up.

  The night of the election not one person was in a good mood. Most Cubans can’t believe what they are seeing. Half of the population of their adopted country are voting themselves slowly into Socialism/Communism and all most of the Cubans want to do is fight it. They’ve been there, they seen what is coming. They do not want to go back to ration cards where it is illegal to own/eat red meat (you were thrown in JAIL if you were caught), where you cannot have more than 6 eggs a month and more than half a glass of milk a day for kids and NONE after 6 years old.

  Get over yourself!

  Ouch. Being from Missouri (now living in Miami, Florida) I have to say I’m quite ashamed of this guy. The people in Missouri are pretty level headed for the most part. Every state has their wackos, it just seems bad luck that the light has came down on this particular nut job. I’ll be calling my friends and family in Missouri to make sure they do not vote for this guy and tell them what he has been saying.

  I just seen that last week. Awesome movie. Some of those SEALs can really act. Deploy a SEAL Team to the border with orders to shoot anyone with *weapons* entering the country illegally. See how quickly our boarder would be secured.

It even goes so far as to compel most adult males into holding a door open for females, even when the males do not get anything in return! This disturbing disorder is also responsible for random people greeting each other in a friendly manner, as well as a general happiness to your fellow man.

  The scientists who brought you this study (not to mention those in major US universities and government positions) are worried that this disease might spread! It is up to all of us to stop using appropriate physical discipline with our children or this mental disorder might spread to all of America, maybe even the world! Act Now!

  Seriously? You guys are complaining about cops actually having a vehicle that can not be shot up by a high powered rifle so they can get close to the suspect? Do you want them to try to get close in an open-air jeep? On foot? No vest? It sounds like you just would rather see cops be killed in a “fair” fight. Hell no. You number one job out on the streets is to get back home to your family. The cops had an advantage of an APC (quit calling it a tank) that they can safely move close. If it keeps ME from getting killed, I’ll take it. And please tell me, if your in a firefight with someone who has an automatic weapon, do you want to go in with a .22 revolver? Or do you want to go in with something at least as large a caliber as the suspect’s? It’s common sense people. If you want to see what happens in that situation, go look up the bank robbery in North Hollywood that happened in the mid to late ’90s. Two suspects with body armor and fully automatic weapons against cops with revolvers and the body armor too light to matter against the suspect’s weapons. Just think how that wouldn’t have happened if the police could have responded in kind early on.

  Please stop thinking as cops as part of a “police state”. That just shows you how dumb you are. As a cop, I can tell you that is completely opposite of what is true. Please, I beg you, read a little. Talk to people instead of holding up in your room sitting at your computer all the time.
