  • Apparently they were more focused on green nonsense than making a proper game. I was looking forward to this game, despite the politically correct nonsense… but there are huge flaws with the design, particularly when it comes to pathing.

For example, traffic will follow the shortest route, even if that route is a small local road backed up for miles, while not a single car will take the quicker but longer route over the high capacity bypass road.

Citizens wander aimlessly most times, they go to sleep in the first house they come to rather than their own house… same with jobs. A citizen that starts off walking, say across a residential street to a park, will continue to keep walking, ignoring all other modes of transportation (including the green mass transit) even if his new destination is on the other side of the city.

Basically this game is trash covered up by some nice graphics and a green label.

    So glad I didn’t pre-order it.

  • And that post sums up perfectly why the GOP will die.
The inability of people to figure out if they are politician or preacher.

The whole gay marriage issue is easy solved at the federal level… since it is NOT a federal issue. Done. Let the states deal with it how they like. No different from anything else.

You can have your faith, but your faith should not dictate government policy. That is the concept behind the infamous “separation of church and state” line. It wasn’t to chase out displays of religion from the public square it was to keep honest with the Constitution.

For example, you can’t support going into the Middle East and/or backing Israel because you believe the bible says you should. This goes against the fundamental concept of having no foreign entanglements, being friend to all and enemy to none.

Faith has it’s place but it has NO place in determining government policy.

  • I have always had a problem with this entire subject.
Where exactly is the wording in the Constitution, that explains how the vote for confirmation should happen?… Oh that’s right… there is NO such requirement… merely a mention of advise and consent.

To me, that means that the Senate should present advice on people to consider for such positions (though the President is not obligated to follow or even listen to such advice) and perhaps… at most a simple majority vote to consent. Honestly, I don’t think there should even be a vote. I think consent should be assumed, unless the Senate votes to object.

So basically if the Senate does nothing (which they are VERY good at) nominees walk through.

  • I don’t know… why not do it again?
I mean, you went up in an aircraft, that had a complete engine failure and had no problems whatsoever landing perfectly safely.

  • Socialism always destroys people’s humanity.
You don’t have to just look at the classics, like Hitler, Stalin and Mao.

Remember about a year ago, that video of the little Chinese girl getting run over, repeatedly and people just walked by.

or that guy in New York (I think) that was lying on the sidewalk dying from getting shot) as people walked by and even mocked him.

I am not a religious man but I suspect if Satan was real that Socialism is his.
It is an attractive temptation, particularly for those people overwhelmed with greed and jealousy and no honor or work ethic. And it always brings misery, cruelty, suffering and flat out evil, enslaving all that adopt it.

  • This Is Why America Has an Electoral College

    In reply to sheriff32.

“So much for bring a democracy”
    What language is that?

Only the mis-educated have ever thought America was a democracy, with are and always have been a Constitutional Republic.

The left has tried, with some success to make us a democracy… if and when they ever fully succeed America is doomed.

  • Well I wouldn’t blame all of Pennsylvania, just the eastern “Philly” half.

  • We are doomed if we removed the Electoral College.
It is the only thing that prevents a half dozen major cities from dictating over the other 95% of the country.

  • You do realize we have a secret ballot right?

  • Yes, yes anyone that believes in the Constitution, the rule of law, individual rights and the good old American Way, is angry… but those that believe in rioting, pooping on police cars, government backed theft, pitting groups of Americans against each other and the philosophies of Marx, Stalin, Mao and Hitler are peaceful, loving and tolerant…

Anger… “You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.”
