We mention over and over that Jesus died on the Cross for our sin but we neglect to discuss what needed to occur for Him to do so. He indeed went through great physical and emotional torment but I believe His greatest sacrifice was accepting the Father’s will to be SEPARATED, cutoff from His Father and the Holy Spirit and Their sinless spiritual existence and agree to take our sin to the grave. I guess that if we had any inkling of what that was like, we would sweat blood as well.

Here’s the real problem in all of this. The Federal Government controls 84% of the land in Nevada. Bundy believes his fee’s should go to the state, not the federal government. Does any state have the right to fight for their own sovereign land or do they just have to lay down and listen to a Federal bureaucracy?

The last line, “the one thing he truly needed right inside the Bible.” What he truly needs is in the Bible but it not the rent checks.

Let’s see, $14 a month times 12 equals $168. From 1989 to 2014 is 25 years, $168 times 25 equals $4200. Even if he paid the $100 a month from 1989 it only equals $30000. How does he owe a half a million?

    Found this explanation.
I do believe that if you had truly done EXTENSIVE research into the Common Core you would be able to plainly see that the Federal government has their hands in every piece of the Common Core pie.

Why, if the Common Core is truly ‘state-led’, were states required to adopt it as a prerequisite to receiving permission to compete for Race to the Top funds (which by the way was made possible with funding from American Recovery and Reinvestment Act…to the tune of $4.35 BILLION alloted for the RTTT)? Read through the Race to the Top Executive Summary and you will see what I am talking about. http://www2.ed.gov/programs/racetothetop/executiv

Why, in order to receive FEDERAL waivers for No Child Left Behind, did states have prove their adoption of the Common Core? http://truthinamericaneducation.com/federalized-e

Why is Arne Duncan, Secretary of Education, threatening to withhold FEDERAL funding for states that refuse to implement the assessments of Common Core? http://www.edsource.org/today/2013/duncan-threate

Common Core is education’s Obamacare, another plan for the Federal Government to control your life.

Great job Myles! Isn’t it amazing when an 8 year old gets it but so many ‘adults’ don’t have a clue.

    God Bless you Myles

In the article “Yes, the holidays are over — the next holiday for the majority of Americans (Memorial Day) is 142 days away. Cue the grumbles.”

Seems to me the next holiday the majority celebrate is Easter, this year April 20.

Glenn’s comment ““Both sides do it,” he added.” There is one major difference, most liberals make personal attacks, trying to demean the person, most conservatives attack the strategy or direction of the liberal goals, that’s a big difference.

In almost all of these cases the ones who immigrate from these other countries are the very ones that have the capacity to strive for success that is not available from their home lands. They are no more successful as a percentage of the population they have left than others that have been part of the U.S. for years. The ‘strivers’ are a very large percentage of their kind in the U.S. simply because they were able to leave their homeland leaving the ‘non-striving’ balance. Hopefully that description is understandable!

Another problem with this is brine has shown to be much more corrosive on automobiles than rock salt.

Maybe someone could ask the atheists where their gift catalog is that would be similar to World Vision’s. They could do it for their ‘Solstice’!

What are the atheists doing for the poor, do they have their own Samaritan’s Purse?

Really helping others has never entered their mind.

Giant steps in the U.S. government is only possible when you are the giant. Right now Republicans are second in a two person race. Large changes in direction are impossible right now. Another government shutdown over principle will remove the momentum gained by the Obamacare boondoggle. If you are not willing to take small steps today in order to take giant steps later you are kidding yourself. The liberals have gotten to this point by taking small steps for over 100 years.

New York City will be a completely different place in four years and it will not be pretty.
