Once they’ve said that the can, and do, do this crap, there’s no putting the genie back in the bottle. They can no longer tell us that they don’t abuse the power. There is no way to control what they are doing.

This was wrong right out of the gate. I don’t care who what in which office, or when, it’s still wrong.

Someone help me with this NSA deal. They say that they are only collecting piles of stuff, and in order for them to sift through the stuff, to find anything, they have to get a warrant from the FISA court. I don’t know how you can believe them on this, but let’s just say it’s true.

Who, or what, is the gatekeeper between the NSA and the data, that makes the warrant the key that opens the door. What keeps them from peeking at our stuff, without the warrant?

It wasn’t political? How stupid do they think everyone is? They wanted to find cases of politically motivated Tea Party organizations (not sure if that’s the correct phraseology) tax exempt status, illegally, to trot out in front of everyone, before the elections. If they had found even one such organization, it would have been plastered all over the media outlets, as wide spread corruption by conservatives.
