  Another politician making a good point for defending the 2nd Amendment and not even knowing it. Sen Whitehouse stated “…a gun [Rem 870 Express] that would be a perfectly legal gun under the new bill…” – It’s perfectly legal now!

  So you take away “assault rifles” this time, only to ban the shotgun next time.

  The last ban did not work, and their new ban will not accomplish anything.

  Here’s a little something to add to their new bill:

  If it turns out that a person has to get a background check (or if you live in a state that already does), that person shall be denied a firearm if evidence shows that person is a registered democrat, or has ever in the past or present participated in liberal, left wing, progressive political lobbying, that person shall be denied a firearm.

  After all, that is what ‘they’ want, and it is about time ‘they’ put their ‘money where their mouth is’, and live it the way ‘they’ want the rest of us to live it. These political idiots are on record saying, “It is suppressing the right to vote, for a person to prove who they are before voting, with a picture ID.” What do they call it when a person has to fill out a two (2) page Form 4473, show a picture ID, and answer all the questions on that form “correctly” OR that person is DENIED their RIGHT to the 2nd Amendment and cannot bear arms.

  The politicians have already chipped enough away at our Constitution, they need to leave it alone!

  Reinstate the HUAC.

  In 1947, the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC) brought the Cold War home in another way. The committee began a series of hearings designed to show that communist subversion in the United States was alive and well.
  In Hollywood, HUAC forced hundreds of people who worked in the movie industry to renounce left-wing political beliefs and testify against one another. More than 500 people lost their jobs. Many of these “blacklisted” writers, directors, actors and others were unable to work again for more than a decade. HUAC also accused State Department workers of engaging in subversive activities. Thousands of federal employees were investigated, fired and even prosecuted. As this anticommunist hysteria spread throughout the 1950s, liberal college professors lost their jobs, people were asked to testify against colleagues and “loyalty oaths” became commonplace.
  Without going into it any further, wasn’t the USA still prosperous as an industrial country in exportation of domestic products? Wasn’t the USA still producing jobs in this country and not having to ship them overseas?
  Now, it seems like the democrat left wing liberal idiots are at it again. Seems the HUAC should be reinstated and put back into action. The ‘Hollywood’ crowd seems unaware of their actions and/or beliefs and should be held accountable.
