  Taurus firearms are no longer “cheap junk”. They once were fairly low quality, but they are now made to a much higher standard than they used to be. They aren’t flashy or fancy, but they WORK. The fault lies in the mishandling of the weapon by the individual, not in the firearm. I’m curious why the man had his finger in the trigger guard of a loaded firearm when climbing into the vehicle. Very sad incident, to be sure.

  You really brought that weak philosophical saw into this conversation? Since you obviously don’t believe in God ( you capitalize the word, BTW), it would be impossible to give you any reason that will satisfy you. So, I’ll just put this up before I go: in Genesis, when Adam and Eve ate the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge, they were given the ability to decide for themselves what is good and evil…the animals do not have this ability. God told them that it would bring them trouble, but that is all part of life as a human being.

  You can take your false outrage somewhere else. This crowd ain’t buying it. That was no “misprint”; it had its intended effect on impressionable young girls. How do you sleep at night? Being a leftist and advocating and working for a twisted philosophy that has resulted in the deaths of MILLIONS under Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, Castro, the NK Kims, and all the other dozens of socialist/communist dictators?   Just to let everyone know that the new CEO (as of November this year) is Anna Maria Chávez. She is listed on Wikipedia as the first Latina to head the organization…a Yale graduate…and oh yeah, she used to work for Janet Napolitano. Now, why would they want a Latina to head the Girl Scouts one year out from an election? Maybe the Girl Scouts will be used to help bolster the illegal alien vote…you know, “community service” depending on how many they register for the Democrat Party…one way or the other, though, you can bet the current woman is up to no more good than the last one.
