    Leuty you stated it perfectly. I might only add that the person refusing the gay couple based on their religious beliefs, is only refusing to participate in the ceremony. If they refused to sell some gay person walking into the shop a pastry or donut that would be discrimination.

    Moderate: I hate to admit it but you are right, the two cases don’t compare since one is openly advocating hate, poor attempt at turning the tables. However, political theater is being played on both sides here. There are pro-gay activists everywhere picking the perfect target , usually in a left-leaning area, then using the liberal media and courts to further their agenda by ruling in their favor, garnering support while at the same time chipping away at religious freedom. This tactic has been playing out all over the country in various cases with great success. Do you think that reporter who went to that pizza shop in Indiana picked that particular place at random? No, it was the perfect setup to portray someone who was simply taking a stand based on her religious beliefs to be labeled as a “hater” . Why couldn’t that gay couple gone somewhere else for their cake?
    Surely their must have been other bakeries willing to make a cake for them. The reason is simple- it’s not about the cake, it’s all about their agenda: forcing their views and morals on everyone regardless of their beliefs.

    Good points, but perhaps Deblasio, being the good prog he is, is playing into his party’s plans for a national police force

    Seems to me there have been Hollywood actresses since the beginning of the film industry, so what “paving” actually happened? Not sure if the pay was equal back then(1920′s) but I’m sure they were payed well.

    eric2waters, look up Photon in the App Store. It seems to work better with the Blaze than Safari on my IPad. Still a little slow loading pages but you don’t get that annoying second page popping up

    Nope, Kerry’s “concern” lasted about 3 milliseconds, until wifey notified him the Gulfstream was ready for take-off to the Mediterranean

    Judeo, he sounds like a S.D.A. drone, the way he talks. I had a friend yrs back who went to that church and spoke similarly about the Pope. He later admitted that his church ok’d lying in order to bring people into that church. They also use numerology in a confusing and distorting manner against our Church

    Lest, Catholic Church stories really are click-generators here since there are so many anti-Catholics on this site and the Blaze staff know it

    As someone who was also raised Carholic, here are some facts for you;

    When the Catholic Church was founded, there were no hospitals. Today, one out of five people in this country receive their medical care at a Catholic hospital.
    When the Catholic Church was founded, there were no schools. Today, the Catholic Church teaches 3 million students a day, in its more than 250 Catholic Colleges and Universities, in its more than 1200 Catholic High Schools and its more than 5000 Catholic grade schools.
    Every day, the Catholic Church feeds, clothes, shelters and educates more people than any other organization in the world!! How many other churches can make a similar claim?

    Great idea Monk. Would make them squirm a bit to say the least, put them in a difficult situation. I would love to see the response she gets!
