Now I know what happened to our old dining room drapes I put in the Salvation Army box. What pray tell does a Hajibiswimsiuti look like? A woman could drown in one of them.

Zorro is right. Unfortunately this guy IS an American citizen. That should mean something, it used to. I take my citizenship and the responsibilities that go along with it very seriously. It is precious to me. It should be to anyone that is one of us. Whether this guy should be a citizen or not is a different topic that maybe we should think about before we dole the precious right of citizenship out willy nilly as we too often do. This guy is a POS, granted as was that Al-Laki guy that they dropped drone bomb on, but they were also American citizens, good or bad, but the deserve their day in court as do you

gee, what a surprise. How much more of this garbage are the people going to take? I am to the point that nothing surprises me anymore and to be totally honest, I don’t even care anymore. I’ve been to Washington twice. I suppose I’ll have to go at least once more before I die. next time I won’t be so damn nice!

If he had a couple of tats and some piercings he would look a little like Keith Richards. He wasn’t shot out of a tree by chance was he?

finally a topic can commend this President for. I have to admit bin Laden and now Qaddafi A heck of a good start.

    That’s only in Missouri!

Cheez- Let me take a stab at answering your question. My guess is they took Muslim names after being converted to Islam while in prison. Somebody check it out, I’ve got a Jackson says I’m right!

Yes, the guys hanging out in ‘the backwoods’ are probably Conservatives with guns and they would probably like to use them on scum like Mahr. They don’t though unless the left try to remove our rights as given to us in the Constitution, which used to be the law of this land. Not likely the left? No, he’s right, they would be the ones we see looting and burning the cities, punching their opposition at rallies and calling for the Communists to tear down our great country. It’s coming to the point very quickly when we will need to choose up sides and Mahr isn’t on mine!

It’s getting to the point where the only legislation I think either or both parties should propose is the complete elimination of ALL politicians. Everyday that goes by all I ever hear is one more stupid, irrelevant proposal from both parties. I seriously think we should just disband our society completely and let every American protect and defend themselves. I can’t possibly be any worse than these guys are doing and it for sure would be cheaper! I find myself singing “Wizard of Oz” show tunes all day…”if they only had a brain”

So Snowcat, we should just keep silent about our disapproval of these that want to enslave us and stop speaking out because some wack job somewhere might not be able to cope with our ‘partisan retoric’? I get you. Only left wing, Marxist speech should be tolerated because you’re all about love and peace, right? The fact that this nut job was a Commie sympathizer and Bush hater has nothing to do with your agenda, just so long as you can pin it on the Conservatives? You liberals are pathetic!

We’ve already surrendered Cowboy. That happened in January 2008. We’re unfortunately going to finally witness Uncle Sam’s burial. These people loathe the military and everything it stands for especially the “byproduct” we used to call freedom.

There’s alot of waste in the DOD for sure but my guess is they won’t touch on that. I predict we see a bunch of programs cancelled and cutbacks in things we need more than cutting out waste at the top. Remember that program cuts means more job loss in the private sector. Defense spending is a HUGE job creator. Everybody is for cuts as long as it’s not in our back yard.

like the guy or not, he IS the President of the United States and his security has to be upheld especially against obvious weirdos like these guys. Remember the party crashers at the White House early on in his presidency that got past the Secret Service. That can NOT happen. What did these guys think was going to happen when they started waving a camera around and being obnoxious in the vicinity of the President, a lunch invitation?

Mr. Butcher Your first mistake is your supposition that there is no God. From that point, our rights are given to all mankind, inalienable means they can’t be taken away because they are common to all men and do come from God. If they came from man they can be taken from man. My need to be free comes from God, not man. Secondly, The United States of America used to be a sovereign nation of laws that protected it’s CITIZENS from other citizens denying us our rights. that is no longer the case as our government has decided that we don’t need borders any longer and we should be a diverse enough country to be evrything to everybody, no matter what the cost to our own citizenry. I believe this Assange charachter has systematically set out to embarass, defame and ultimately destroy The United States of America. My country is not perfect but it is a damn site better abd more moral than any other regime or nation in human history. We are the moral compass of the world. When anything ever goes wrong, who does everybody call/ US!!. If not us, who? The Chinese? The Russians? Maybe the French will be there. I don’t really know about any of this 2nd tier and 3rd tier stuff that you speak about but I think this Assange guy is an enemy of my country and if he had an accident, I could care less.

I totally agree, I am absolutely amazed! Barack Obama is so far in over his head it isn’t even funny. i think what we are actually seeing is those that run the Democratic Party are showing that they know this presidency has been a disaster. they are bringing Clinton in because there is no one in the Democratic party that can save them. this is the equivalency of a Democrat fire sale and our country is burning. this is some real serious stuff going on and this man has NO answers. Everything he has done has been wrong, big time and we may be seeing the Democrat Party morph into the American Social Democrat Party. harry Truman is dead, long live the Czar comrade! God help us!

@Richard. You make some really great points and i do actually agree with most of your positions. I believe that there must be a certain amount of confidential conversations between government officials that should be private and confidential. i also must admit that I am not 100% up to knowing all that was actually released. I must say that I am very skeptical about this whole story from top to bottom. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but I’ve been around long enough to question the undelying motives. I used to implicitly trust my government. I must admit that unfortunately that is no longer the case. As far as this story goes, I SMELL A RAT!! When I see the amount of support that this guy is getting from all the Progressive, Communists and such groups, I must admit I have certain trepidations about where I should stand. I never have a problem deciding where I stand on any issue, but on this one I have this wild hair on my neck that keeps standing up not matter how many times I comb it. Weird.

The goose that lays the golden eggs is out of eggs!!

  • December 10, 2010 at 12:36pm

Let me explain in Washingtonian just what a tax cut actually is. Let’s say for arguments sake we have a government program that costs 5 billion dollars and it doesn’t work (what a stretch huh?) You figure that if we could just spend 15 billion for said program instead of 5 billion it would work better, so you propose this spending increase for your pet program. Now if when the bill comes up you only get 10 billion dollars for your program, THAT is a 5 billion dollar cut. Got it? Now multiply that by hundreds of programs and you can begin to see the problem. A billion here and a billion there, pretty soon you’re talking alot of money!

  • December 10, 2010 at 12:20pm

@Richard What lies? from what i’ve seen most of what has been leaked is private emails and letters between government officials. If that was what was being released I wouldn’t have a problem with it but I believe the purpose is to destroy confidence in the privacy of intergovernmental discussions and that is a dangerous, dangerous path to go down. Our State Department needs trust and reputation to be able to function in our behalf.

No, but a CIA ‘black ops’ action can certainly assure that this Australian citizen is never able to do it again. people do have accidents you know.
