Does Empowering the Military for Local Law Enforcement in Crisis Erode Civil Liberties?
May 17, 2013 at 10:35pm
As a former military officer, this alarms me beyond all mention! This makes no sense. If there were a local crisis that might benefit from military assistance (I cannot imagine one) and the President could not be contacted, then the governor would ask. The military commander should NEVER decide. This is contrary to our civil liberties and our traditions. Our military should never be used against citizens of our country within our own borders.
The Scathing Speech That Just Got a Standing Ovation During the IRS Hearing
May 17, 2013 at 1:39pm
Thank you for sharing this. I have been watching the hearings all morning and near ‘nuf stood up and cheered when Mike Kelly was speaking. I was astonished when I heard the gallery applaud. Apparently some people really ARE awake! Congratulations, Pennsylvania, on electing a straight shooter!!!! (oops, a gun reference!)

White House Holds Off-the-Record Meeting With Reporters on Benghazi
May 10, 2013 at 2:30pm
“off the record meeting” What does that even mean??? The most transparent administration in history? Really? Obama is so transparent that when he sits down, it looks like an empty chair!
This Could Be the Weirdest Exchange from Wednesday’s Benghazi Hearing
May 9, 2013 at 11:04am
Thank you for highlighting this. I watched the entire hearig and this is what really struck me as the most bizarre moment. When my husband came home, I described it to him, saying that it came across as a creepy bribe. No one else seemed to be talking about it (as if anyone but the Blaze was covering the hearing anyway), so I was wondering if I was the only one who noticed. In addition, I thought the Democrats embarrassed themselves with their patronizing opening statements followed by their blatant politically slanted grandstanding by trying to blame the Benghazi tragedy on proposed budget cuts. And doing so with the families of the murdered men in the room. Disgusting.
Why Liberals Think Being Educated Means Being Liberal
April 26, 2013 at 11:55am
Excellent article. Students today have learned that, whether they agree or not with a professor’s liberal teachings, they have to spout it back or face the consequences, which can include flunking a class. Unfortunately, many do not recognize the difference and accept the liberal viewpoint as fact rather than opinion. The theory is that college is the place where you can debate and explore different viewpoints. It is far from true.
