    1 Corinthians 13
    New International Version (NIV)

If I speak in the tongues[a] of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast,[b] but do not have love, I gain nothing.

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

ArtMooney, I am sorry for your lose. We are all weak, but our God and Savior do love us. There are two issues here. 1. Was she able to control her urges (you made a statement that said she could not)? 2. Was she sorrowful about how she acted? Some people can not be moral, due to the addictions they have developed. It takes time, many years even, to become clean. All you need to do is look at Glenn Beck and his past. He even mentioned, in his eyes, how much of a poor soul he was.

I have also gone through an issue of loving someone, even if they are not in a relationship with me and for years onward. I have not gone through your experience, but I can understand some of your pain. The advise I was given is to let her go. Yes, it is hard to do, you may even say it can’t be done, but to have peace you may have to. But just to let you know, when you do let her go, you may experience extreme heart pain, almost a heart attack, as if a piece of your heart was ripped away. From my experience, It will feel like a heart attack…. With a point over your heart blazing in pain…
Another piece of advice I received from a friend is not to compare her to who ever may walk into your life (the good qualities, at least).

    Philippians 4:19
-And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
–(Perhaps you could pray that God would send you someone to love?) Note, this could be a liberal interpretation of that verse.

@ Mick. How do you then explain Benjamin Franklin? He would be considered the first American Play Boy….Lol. he even wrote about it. Although, it would give a reason why his home life was a wreck.

–referencing a history channel episode on his life.

Just to be clear, I am not in support of the issue here. I am for what God wants out of a relationship.

One should not make mention of those things by the usage of “like the voice said…”. You give credence to things that are not good. One does not say to follow or act in accordance to them.

*If you are wondering why my statement seems a bit off and simple, I am trying to not bring attention to myself (read this in reference to my above statement..

Well Soybomb, after a few mins of my recent post to you, I realize I owe you an apology. And yes, that is my Christian beliefs kicking in, besides my conscience.

I did not realize the full extent to which the statement of “the funny thing is” is applied to my full statement. At the time, I was going on emotion and a general opening statement. Upon review, it is not a funny thing. It is not funny to contemplate someone not existing…….. So, I do ask for forgiveness for that statement. In review, what I mean to say is: “the sad thing is”, what would have happened if you were one of those abortions (i.e. from the time period you were born in, just in case you wanted to pull a technicality)? You would not be here to be yourself and also cause headaches….

I also do apologize for the rest of my post. I am still waking up, and I let my emotions get the better of me.

You did not deserve the full acid I poured on you, and…. I do ask your forgiveness for the 2nd half of my post. It got way too personal…… (yes, I know, I did not mention the 1st half. I still stand by what I said, but the 2nd half was out of line…..)

I just strongly believe in the right to life, and if I were a fetus to a women who was not my mother, I may not be here, given the life issues of the women. At times, I take it personally when someone is for abortion; I feel it could have been me (sometimes) flushed down the drain.

I just find it oh so funny that you have a selfish desire to tell Christians how to treat the born, when you don’t even give a bleep about the unborn. You know what, how about you get down on your knees and give thanks to all that is good that your mother loved you enough to give birth to you. I take it you, somehow, believe we still have rights after we are born, just not before? If the unborn have no rights, then the born receive none too.

And the funny thing is, Soybomb? What would have happened if you were one of those abortions (i.e. from the time period you were born in, just in case you wanted to pull a technicality)? Ops, you would not be here to spread filth.

Your welcome from all those defending your right to live, before you were even born.
Just one thing left: if you allow your wife to have an abortion, don’t forget someone actually loved you enough to give birth to you, and how lucky you are that you are not your wife’s just aborted fetus. Goodness, doesn’t just make you all warm and fuzzy inside, knowing you advocate the destruction of life?

Glenn Beck had to rush back home because of a family member being in the hospital. This is what caused him to cancel things. Now, will he still get in touch with those individuals? I have no idea. Try calling into his show.

  • June 14, 2013 at 1:57am

He had to rush back to Texas, or some such. One of his family members is in the hospital and he is worried about them. That is what caused Glenn Beck to cancel things up in New York…..

You could try calling into his radio show to as more about it.

  • June 14, 2013 at 1:55am

    Pray to God for help.

  • June 14, 2013 at 1:54am

You could try emailing, calling any pastors you might know. PRayers are always helpful: they are pleas to God for help!

  • June 14, 2013 at 1:52am

You may want to email Glenn Beck about this.

  • June 14, 2013 at 1:51am

ALTAOIL2, Glenn Beck mentioned that he had to cancel his trip to New York; he recently had a family member put into the hospital. I think he mentioned that near the beginning of his radio show yesterday. I am not sure if he will be able to still meet with those individuals.

I would say, please pray for what Glenn was hinting at to happen.
    Prayers always help.

    ==============CONTIENUED FROM LAST POST==========================

If, however, there is no free pass for the legal applicants, this has been nothing but a political move to get more votes, for either party going for citizenship of the illegals. I am not saying that if someone is hurt, to not give them medical aid, nor if they are starving to not give them bread. What I am worried about is the fact that a large amount of illegal immigrants, who are desperate for help, might go to those who are handing out free stuff, we already have that with the legal citizens. Our Founding Fathers have said that if the people were to figure out how to vote for free stuff, our country would soon be ruined. I welcome the immigrants who are here for Liberty, who are open, and even for what our Founding Fathers were for, through The Constitution and The Bill of Rights. I am happy to have immigrants who will vote for smaller gov’t. And SoSorryForYou, it is not selfish behavior to be for self-preservation. It is not about getting any one party’s candidate elected: it is about having men and women who stand for The Constitution to be our President, Senator, and House Representative. I do not hate the illegals themselves; I hate how things are being handled after they are in the country. I can, and do, sympathize with those coming here who need help. I can understand the desperation. I believe God sees our problems and has not turned away from us, at least for those who are good hearted or hi

  • June 13, 2013 at 1:23pm

SoSorryForYou – I counter and say that God does see borders. One example would be how he has been for Israel. Would God want people who are not for Liberty, or the best interests of Israel, in Israel as a legal citizen? Take for example how God had the Hebrews drive out the Philistines and other groups from the land of Israel. God may not take into account the legality of a person being in a place, but he does take into account what their intentions are, besides what their moral compass is. The problem is that the bad groups among the illegals, the drug cartel men and women, and those who have come here illegally through Mexico, will be getting a free pass for citizenship. The last number I heard of drug cartels is that they are in 2k American cities. We need to secure the border, and then we need to talk about immigration. I do not believe that the illegals, who came in the wrong way, should be favored over all the legal immigrant applicants trying to get here. How do you think the applicants feel about the citizenship we are giving to those who got here the wrong way? There is already a path of citizenship for immigrants; it is what others have done before coming here. The legal applicants should first be given a free pass to come to America to be legalized. Then, we can give the illegals a free pass to come here.
