OK reverse that the shooter was the passenger, the car was traveling from left to right and the driver accelerated abruptly after the first shot was fired. the acceleration forced the shooters hand downward.

The one that passed through the glass is embedded in the ceiling along with the one that passed through the wall about a foot below the window. The one found on what is obviously the bathroom floor ricocheted off the door jam which is steel and landed there relatively whole which indicates that it was probably 40 caliber handgun and judging from the spread it was probably a jacketed hollow point such as the ones I carry. I was in Los Angeles last night and can prove it. Also the trajectory indicates that it was probably fired at random from a moving vehicle from the street directly in front of the window. The one nearest to the floor was probably the first shot followed by the one in the wall above and forward of the first then came the one through the window, the last shot to enter the room in question but not necessarily the last shot. The pattern indicates that the driver was driving from right to left and possibly firing with one hand (failure to control recoil). The shooter was probably the driver of the vehicle. The wall shrapnel was caused when the other two bullets hit the cement ceiling.

Too bad he wasn’t in Arizona, they would have had no reason to arrest him. It is foolish to carry an unloaded weapon, that just makes you the first target of an unlawful gunman.
