It’s pretty simple, really. No matter if you “like” the books or “like” the previous movies, this new series will bring yet another view to the Bible. It may not be totally correct nor may it be “believable” in its filming. However, having said that, you take what God wants you to take from each experience IF you are open to His lessons. To discount the works of such an established duo simply because YOU personally didn’t find it entertaining is short sighted at best.

The home owner used the typical body-body-head method taught by the military. Obviously, if the criminal is still alive, this home owner needs to use a larger caliber handgun.

The home owner is in tears by the end of the 911 call. You can hear the anguish, shock and despair in his voice from having been forced to protect his home by shooting someone. It is a very tough thing to kill another human being. Most people aren’t wired to do so.

Even people like me who had years of military training prior to ever having to kill someone in the Middle East. Even though he was an enemy combatant, it still screws with your head if you have any level of humanity to you. In the moment, you find yourself intent on saving the lives of your brothers and yourself, but still, it haunts you. You end up, hopefully, feeling like it was better for them to die than you or yours and in a home invasion situation like this, the emotions and long term feelings are going to be no different.

In both instances, mine and this homeowners, the bad guy made a choice that forced a response. Everyone can make a choice NOT to fire at a well armed force or, to NOT commit a crime by breaking into someones house. Ultimately, their deaths, or injuries, are due to their OWN decisions. When you FORCE someone to make a decision to defend themselves, YOU better be ready to die as well.

Freedom of religion is likely what got him interested in helping. The truth of the wars is simple. To kill as many of the conservative/extremist islamic nut jobs as possible. It isn’t a religious war, they are wars that were, and are, fought to keep America safe from radical islam.

This whole thing is pure BS. Something I find quite disturbing, beyond some “official” worker NOT identifying herself, is that this guy is heavily educated on hunting and firearms handling. An instructor no less. Which will likely keep him from facing any charges. But what would happen to regular joe who didn’t have all that certification?

I would NOT live in one of these communist States. I don’t care if my family chose to live there, if I would have to take a huge pay cut, whatever. I would NEVER subject myself to laws that are unconstitutional. If enough Americans were to do the same, these States would collapse due to a lack of income and perhaps then, the Demoidiots would FINALLY “get it”.

I bet those two truly are sorry for what they did. Because now they have to face the price of their decisions. Is it heart wrenching to see two lives destroyed like this? Perhaps for one split second because my mind immediately turns to the young girl that was raped. What about her life? She will have to live with this for the rest of it. She will have to live with knowing her friends saw a picture of her naked, after having been used by two monsters. They say alcohol brings out the worst in people. Well, if it brings out the tendency to friggin RAPE someone, then tough crap. You got less than what you both deserve!

Back about 20 years ago, I was stationed in Korea. Some friends and I had WALKED to a club about a mile outside the camp. We proceeded to get blackout drunk. It was the first time I’d ever had a blackout and was from drinking Soju. Still, I managed to walk, or stumble, back to my camp, get through the gate, walk to MY barracks and go to MY barracks room and lay down in MY bed. So I find it hard to buy the mistaken house thing unless the kid had JUST moved in. Still, as others have said, why was he out that damned late? Why was he not with a friend? I don’t care what age you are, you come walking into my house at zero dark thirty, you’re gonna catch some JHP lead for your stupidity. Ultimately, this is the parents fault. But how much you wanna bet they’ll be on TV blaming the guy who shot him?
