  • Finally what Democrats are thinking and saying when they think nobody can hear them is revealed. We’ll see if anybody cares next election.

  • Our news coverage is so messed up now days. Most don’t even try to cover their bias.

They expose their bias when whenever you ask them a question the suspect isn’t Kosher liberal pablum.. they ALWAYS ask “Who are you with”? And won’t answer until you and the “Who are you with” question. Like if your not one of them… their not going to talk to you.

They stick together and try to shut down anybody who’s no on the approved “Who are you with” list. It’s like you can be an anarchist, a communist or whatever… that’s ok they will talk to you. But if your not on their list… you get nothing but avoidance.

You can tell you’re going to get shut-down when they ask the “Who are you with” question, and the handler gets that smug smile and wispers in their ear, and they get the same embarrased smile and clam up.

It’s like high school all over again, and if your not with the IN crowd (or on the list)… you are nobody and they won’t talk to you. Sad.

  • The Koch Brothers also fund NOVA (on PBS) and numerous hospitals, museums, and medical research programs…. They don’t try to control the content NOVA presents. They didn’t ruin the museums they fund, or the medical research they fund… why would they ruin the LA Times?

  • We are not practicing “FREE Enterprise” when we let the Politicos decide who can/can’t be involved in buying or selling businesses.

When you need government boss’s approval to be involved in business… and when you can have your participation in a purchase black-balled by a government official (because you don’t follow HIS ideology)… we have the mafia… not free enterprise.

And those who say, “but it’s not a business, it’s a public trust”, and “we can’t have people owning it who don’t agree with our ideology”… where were you when Al Jazera was buying Al Gore’s Network???

  • Proof that the people who would infringe on your 2nd amendment rights also have no problem infringing on ANY of your Constitutional Rights they feel offended by. Have the police in Logan City never heard of the 1st amendment? In America we have freedom of speech, and freedom of expression. We don’t just cart people off to jail for wearing a tee shirt with a message we don’t like. This is still America and we have our Constitutional Rights (for now).

  • This is why it’s so important that Bloomberg and his ilk not control the Supreme Court.

  • We should be registering assault PEOPLE, not assault rifles.

People with a violent history are a danger to society whether they have access to an assault rifle or not. And people who are not violent aren’t a danger to society even if they have an assualt rifle. Why can’t our politicians see this?

A person who has a history of violent crimes will continue to pray on society with or without an assault rifle. They will mug you with an assault knife, or beat their wife with their assault fists, or intimidate their family or neighbors with their assault words. But a person who is only interested in peace would never use any weapon for anything other than self defense.

Just possessing an assault weapon does NOT automatically make that person a bad person, or a danger to society. Why can’t a politician see this and come up with a solution that doesn’t blame the assualt rifle…. and focus on registering and tracking the assualt person?

  • If you bought gold as an “investment” (meaning intending to buy low, sell high, and make money on it)… you’re an idiot.

If you bought it for protection or security for your family in mind… it may still fulfill that purpose (market price isn’t the point).

But keep in mind… you can’t eat gold. I’d be buying food before I bought gold.

  • I need to point out how off-base and silly the people who don’t know what they’re talking about but don’t let that keep them from posting mis-information anyway sound. I’m Mormon, and attend church every week so I don’t have to guess or post what I assume, or what somebody told me. I’m a good man but… my wife has served in more leadership positions than I have.

#1. Women have been speaking at General Conference for many years. Didn’t realize this was the first prayer..

#2. Women pray in LDS weekly meetings all the time. (Sacrament meetings, Sunday school meetings, and auxiliary meetings) at the local and regional level. There is no “war on women” in the LDS church. The church has been lead by good men and women from the beginning.

#3. ~1/2 of the LDS organizations are presided over by women
-Primary President (for children under 12)
-Young Women President (for women between 12 and 18)
-Relief Society President (for adult women)

#4. ~1/2 of the Ward Council is women (the group that leads the local ward). No… Bishops don’t make decisions on their own… they consult the Ward Council.

#5. The General Presidencies for the Primary, Young Women, and the Relief Society are all women (President, 2 councilors and a secretary) and they speak at EVERY General Conference.

Women are very well represented in local and general church leadership. LDS people have the utmost respect for women, and probably have more women in leadership position

  • As long as they tend to vote Democrat… why would the current administration want to prevent them from coming into the United States? And if their kids tend to vote Democrat… why not give the kids automatic citizenship?
