Watch out there dude 400 mill can go as quick as it came M. Jackson was worth over a billion once, but he was broke when he died.
LOL!!!! Here it is.. Frank Drebin must be a camel??
A long time ago I used to go to this dive bar in/around Gardena called "The BankClub"...in the ladies restroom, they had a huge realistic painting on one wall of the main stall...it was of a reclining naked man (along the lines of a Fabio) and covering his crotch was a metal fig leaf that was attached to the wall by a hinge.
Whenever a lady lifted it up to see underneath, a flashing/screaming siren would go off in the main bar...but it was totally quiet in the restroom.
Actually, I miss that place...lol.
That's the first thing that came to mind when I read the article.
Just what I was thinking. Life imitates comedic art.
I was going to say Leslie Neilson did it first and better, but the Councilman did it live and without a net. Very impressive.

Or careful manipulation works also. We held a town meeting on Aug. 30, 2011 (scheduled a month ahead) In which 8 people made the decision to spend over $1,000,000 (Significant in a town of 650 taxpayers). Why was Aug 30th significant? Irene hit ct on Aug 29th. The roads were impassible and there was no power at town hall. Letter of the law but no spirit. 4 years on, and we are faced with either moving forward or losing 100,000′s in engineering and regulatory costs.

The United States is NOT a democracy it is a Representative Republic. A new England town which decides things through town meetings is closer to a democracy.

I saw one of my schoolmates with whom I was in a club get flattened by a tow truck getting off a bus when I was in grade 7. That sticks with you, I am always loath to pass a school bus even when they wave me on. (Country – it happens)

If I am not on cruise control, and have been driving for a while, I find myself doing that. (I sometimes take it off cruise to wake myself out of the long distance fog). Since I know this is a common thing, usually when I pass, and find the guy has sped up I wait till speeds are matched then punch to 10 mph past and then I can pull in fairly quickly (when both head lights visible in rear view). I ALWAYS punch it just as I get to the cab of a big rig to break the wind bow wave he is pushing. I have noted that 1 out of 10 seems to take umbrage with this and will speed up to go by me. 9/10 I am passing him again (still on cruise) within a few minutes. The guy with the dash cam was too close and none too steady on the road himself.

Watch the beginning more carefully (from sec 30-44) the Camaro driver tried to Kill the truck driver on the first attempted pass from the right. Then he did it again. Too bad he was not killed. Awipes like this have NO BUSINESS on the road!

So let’s just put it all on one distributed cloud based dp system with no backup method. Somebody forgot the basic rule of business GET PAID.
I'm sure there's a backup method, but getting systems to reconnect to the home system after a bad image gets rolled out isn't easy and they probably didn't find out about it right away. The fact that they were able to resolve the problem in less than 24 hours speaks volumes about what they have in place to recover from a problem.

This is why armies don’t MARCH across bridges. Harmonic vibrations. (Although the band could have used some harmony)
That's precisely why I am often concerned about stadiums and auditoriums when performers and/or audiences jump, stomp, or rock in unison. The Broughton Suspension Bridge collapsed from soldiers that were marching in unison.
My mother retired from the CHICAGO-PUBIC-SKUELZ, but soon-after she was asked to "perform" by playing-piano (she was the ONLY teacher inthe school who could play a knote on anyting!!) for a "presintationj" of [YELLOW SUBMARINE]. Ther were about 50kids singing the exact same knote...NO HARMONIES AT ALL!! She was SOOOO-BOOORED that she left after one "practice" and told the priciple to get SOMEONE-ELSE!!! This was the first time I ever heard mother express herself in a FOUR-LETTER-WORD-sentence!! :-) ma: "I'm retired-now, so UP YOUR A---!!"
I stopped a dance party at a friends apartment years ago. Everyone was in unison and we were at the harmonic for the floor. I could actually see the floor bowing getting worse and worse. They were none too happy I pulled the plug on the stereo but we were all eventually headed for the floor below.

Behind the door her father kept a shot gun
He kept it in the springtime and in the month of MAy
And if you asked him why the heck he kept it
He kept it oh he kept it for her lover who was far far away
