  • Ted Cruz, as a graduate of Harvard Law School and former Law Clerk for CJ Rehnquist, should have known better than to ask a silly question like this. Of course, the government can ban certain books (child pornography), or allow searches of certain areas (cars), or ban certain guns. Society would not function if all the rights in the Constitution were absolute. It was a specious argument made to win political points. Fortunately it blew up in his face. Unfortunately, Ted Cruz isn’t the only politician, Republican or Democrat, who twists the law to fit his or her agenda.

  • A sense of humor is a sure sign of evolved intelligence and a flexible and creative mind (google it). That’s the reason there is not a single funny conservative show. Unintentionally funny shows like “Fox and Friends” don’t count of course.

You guys here at “the glaze” are not very good at sarcasm, aren’t you?

  • @Turin: Thank you. Finally a coherent argument. The number is actually 93%, but I’ll accept your rational. Now that we have agreed that she is probably a supporter of the president (assuming that she voted, which is a low chance given the small turn out percentages)…how is this relevant to the story? I know you guys get the shakes if you can’t get your daily dose of irrational hate for the president but that can’t be the only reason….can it?

@ditto head: real subtle dude. Old school racism alive and well I see

  • Hey guys,

A few things: I really don’t mind the infantile insults at all, so by all means, keep at it. Second, unless you are a personal friend of the president or a member of his family circle, call him “Barry” just makes you sound like a third grader.

But back to the point: I am still hoping to hear a coherent argument as to how this story about a crazy person turned into Obama bashing and the complete certainty that she’s a supporter of the president. Not to mention that, even if she was, it is absolutely immaterial and it has nothing to do with the article. I am simply interested in learning how you guys arrive to all of this, and what makes you so certain in the absence of any evidence other that your paranoid imaginations.

  • Do you guys realize that just made up that she is an Obama supporter and then proceeded to completely forget about the actual story?
Is this how your imaginary Hitler that’s coming for your guns comes to life? I am just trying to understand the thought process.

  • where exactly does the article say that this person is an Obama supporter? even if she was, it has nothing to do with the story.

After they disabled the out-of-control comments section on FoxNews.com, I come here to see what the lunatics are at. Pretty much the same I have to say. I am thinking about starting a blog to collect all the pearls of wisdom I see here periodically.
