@ “whitechristianpatriot”: enjoy the secret service visit you moron. You have been reported.

  • July 24, 2014 at 7:04pm

I wish I could have a at least a semblance of a conversation with any of you, but your complete lack of reading comprehension and common sense makes it impossible. It is like asking in English and getting a response in Spanish.

what? Back to school. Horrible grammar.

  • [-5] July 24, 2014 at 1:07pm

Of course, this is just the latest conservative non-logic that goes, “My intolerance of gays is okay but your intolerance of my intolerance is NOT okay.”

    Because… Jesus?

Isn’t this the same crowd that staunchly defends the sanctity of free markets and the rights of corporations to employ or fire anyone at will? Or is there an exception for those occasions when their asses are on the line?!

@watchingitall: I should have known…despite being so wrong, you sound civilized. Of course you are Canadian. My guess is you are from rural Alberta or somewhere in Toronto. I never heard a Canadian before that decried multiculturalism though….I find that disturbing and somewhat offensive for someone living in such successful melting pot. It must be very difficult for you to live in that beautiful country of yours with so much common sense, great health care and unbiased journalism. I guess is people like you that keep electing Harper and trying to turn Canada into a place that few would recognize.

Lots of guns in Canada, but no nearly the same mess it is here. Not even close. Why? Complex question, but in general there is no paranoia, no ridiculous bravado, and people live in harmony because Canadian society has understood that the personal well being depends on the common well being. In the US is still me, me, me and myself. Anything is else is considered tyranny by these lunatics. F*&ck the rest.

The solution? to me is education. Anyone that gets a decent education and can travel would benefit greatly and would acquire a broad appreciation of others.

@watchingitall: Very nice, very well elaborated, your liberal upbringing shows. You can actually write a coherent paragraph (unlike most people here) and you do not insult. That’s a pretty good start.

However, there is no real substance in your argument. You are no different than the rest of the guys here that “freedom” so hard. You still think that they are coming for your guns. It’s all in your head…where is the evidence? where are the gun restricting laws that Obama has supposedly enacted? where are all these tyrannic things that you see everywhere? Concrete examples please.

For instance, Obamacare is not tyranny: it is a market regulated mechanism. Just because you disagree with something does not make it a tyranny. But most “freedom lover” act like spoiled teenagers. Life isn’t an action movie and you are not the star.

You will never fire two guns while jumping through the air to save anyone. You aren’t protecting anyone from tyranny. You will never stop any sort of domestic terrorist. Get a grip and join the rest of the adults.

@pissantno: why are you so angry? I am very comfortable here, thank you very much.I am not going anywhere. You know….because is my FREEDOM! LOL

  • [-2] June 30, 2014 at 8:06pm

Can you elaborate what you understand for “tyranny”? This is a serious question, I am not being sarcastic.

And using “ipso facto” does not make you sound smart by the way, just makes it look like you are trying too hard to sound educated.

Does anyone recognize which language is “foobared” speaking? I am confused….is that pig Latin?

  • June 30, 2014 at 7:53pm

@foobared: what? are you ok? you are not making any sense. Back to school to remedial English.

  • [-1] June 30, 2014 at 7:47pm

Thank you. First decent and put together reply I get. But no, I am not that young. I just hope to be alive to see one day some common sense legislation in this country. For now, I would just be happy if those Neanderthals of “open carry Texas” stop harassing regular people.

  • [-4] June 30, 2014 at 7:25pm

Nope, try again. I am a responsible gun owner, not a gun fetishist.

  • [-1] June 30, 2014 at 7:19pm

what are you trying to say? I am not very good with acronyms….

  • [-4] June 30, 2014 at 7:18pm

That’s it? that’s all you have? very well….next.

  • [-5] June 30, 2014 at 7:17pm

I see that reading comprehension is not your forte. I never said the Constitution is a toy: re-read #3. And stop being so dramatic, I am trying to have reasoned argument here.

  • [-34] June 30, 2014 at 6:50pm

    1. The government isn’t coming for you. You’re not that important; get over yourself.
    2. No one wants to take your guns away; they just want to make sure you’re not irresponsible so your kids, or mentally unstable brother-in-law can’t get hold of them.
    3. If you were that fired up about people’s rights, you wouldn’t care who they married, what drugs they took, or what else they did in the privacy of their homes. You just like guns; you like your toys. And you’re happy your toy is in the constitution.
    4. No one is saying you shouldn’t be able to defend yourself (see #2).
To summarize all of the above: If you’re paranoid enough to think you really need to wave one of these things around like a thug or a despot, you probably ARE the unstable brother-in-law who shouldn’t have one

Glenn Beck falsely accused a Saudi Arabian student of being the “money man” behind a fabricated Muslim conspiracy apparently responsible for the Boston bombing. Of course, like most things that come from his mouth, this was total hogwash and a straight lie, but he kept repeating it long after the student was fully cleared of all suspicions. The student is now suing Beck big time for defamation: http://www.bostonmagazine.com/news/blog/2014/03/31/glen-beck-sued-boston-marathon-attack/

That’s pretty rich coming from someone who listens to the biggest hate and disinformation monger in the US. Glenn Beck falsely accused a Saudi Arabian student of being the “money man” behind a Muslim conspiracy apparently responsible for the Boston bombing. Of course, like most things that come from his mouth, this was total hogwash and a straight lie, but he kept repeating it long after the student was fully cleared of all suspicions. and you try to lecture me about peace and brotherhood?

“Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?” Matthew 7:1-5

  • April 1, 2014 at 9:07pm

I thought Beck only cared about Muslims that he falsely accuses of being linked to the Boston bombing….how is that big fat lawsuit for libel working out for ya?!
