  • “I don’t know what the future holds, but at the end of the day I know who holds my future.”

That statement says it all. God’s plans for Tim Tebow may not be a career in football but rest assured, He will use Tim Tebow. I have a feeling that this young man will prosper in whatever he does, even if he must go through trials along the way.

A sincere, devout Christian is anathema to unbelievers. They recoil in fear and confusion when they feel threatened and lash out vehemently. “Thou believest that God is one; thou doest well: the demons also believe, and shudder.” James 2:19

  • I believe history has shown that law abiding citizens in Russia and Germany registered their weapons as requested by the government only to have them confiscated. Same tactics, same results. Nothing changes. The people who comply with this unconstitutional law must be insane if they think this will lead to a different outcome.

When our Pravda-esque journalists start registering their comments first before they speak or write, maybe the rest of us will consider these draconian laws on weapons. Nah! I don’t think so.

  • Maybe it’s because we don’t trust a thing a liberal recommends when asked why we ‘gun nuts’ don’t want universal background checks. All they do is help the police solve gun crimes after the fact. They don’ t prevent crimes committed by law abiding citizens. Enforce what is on the books already.

  • “..have access to basic preventive health care without a co-pay, including birth control.”

Birth control is not “preventive health care”. It has nothing to do with the health of an average female. It has everything to do with avoiding the consequences of engaging in sexual intercourse. In those cases where birth control pills actually treats a health problem, maybe there’s a case for it. It should not be provided free of cost to the user nor should it be a requirement to provide them by anyone who chooses not to.

  • It’s amazing the news reports had few details of what transpired when the incident was first reported but they already knew the killer suffered from PTSD. I’m afraid PTSD is going to be the excuse now not only as a reason to commit murder but also a gateway to thousands of disability claims.

Common sense tells you that after World War 2, the Korean War, and the Vietnam war, there wasn’t an epidemic of PTSD like symptoms. Sure, there was what was referred to as “shell shock” and other issues, but not on the wholesale level we’re seeing today. People didn’t go around killing people and then claiming it was due to their time in the service. I believe a lot of these cases are nothing more than a means to get on the government teat for some free money for life. Think not? Just look at the increase in claims. Sure, the politically correct crowd will show their faux indignation at the suggesion, but excuse me, other veterans have been able to suck it up after past conflicts.

I don’t care what set this guy off. It’s still murder and he had the presence of mind to run and hide because he knew what he did was wrong.

  • Well, I’d just say Poupon on Groupon.

  • The Bible warns of false teachers and from my reading of scripture, Mr. Wallis fits the definition perfectly. Also, he seems to equate the NRA as a spiritual entity based on some of his comments. He might want to reflect on the verses that says there are none that are good.

    Romans 3:9-18:
9 What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin; 10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: 11 There is none that understands, there is none that seeks after God. 12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that does good, no, not one. 13 Their throat is an open sepulcher; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: 14 Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: 15 Their feet are swift to shed blood: 16 Destruction and misery are in their ways: 17 And the way of peace have they not known: 18 There is no fear of God before their eyes.

  • Guess you’ve never considered that evil is prevalent in this world and that every evil act can’t be dismissed as being caused by a “mental illness”. Just like inanimate guns can’t be blamed for the animated actions of the person that picked it up and willfully chose to use it.

  • Deciphering How Statists Think about Gun Control – A good video even the left can comprehend.

  • “Mary remained a virgin”??? I guess Jesus’ brothers and sisters all had virgin births too?

Matthew 13:55-56 – Is not this the carpenter’s son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brothers, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas? 56 And his sisters, are they not all with us?
