These things are not done because it doesn't fit the liberal agenda!

Wow , so to a Democrat nothing screams TERRORIST more than grandma and grandpa in lawn chairs waving an American flags and handing out pocket constitutions.

So he was elected by virtue of his character and political platform?
This is a BAD thing?

He must not frequent soup kitchens or homeless shelters.
He obviously believes in the Hollywood caricature of Christianity and has no Christian friends.
How sad for him.

If one looks at the core of the Tea Party, the supporters and their principals you will see people who voted for Ron Regan.
Many TP people are older, wealthier and better educated than say Occupy.
People sitting in lawn chairs, waving American flags, handing out pocket Constitutions, and taking their trash with them can frighten the extreme Left, like no other VOTER.
The TP is the Extreme Lefts worst nightmare come true.
The behavior of the media and Leftist politicians like Grayson Pelosi Reid Shumer and Obama speaks for itself.
Lets face it, the Constitution is the biggest threat to the Left that there is.

This sort of project is nothing new. When I was in elementary school there was an exercise we did when I was about 10. I am 52 now. It was the “Life Boat”.
Who do you throw off? On the life boat there is a pregnant woman, an old woman, a young strong man, a child, and you. One must be thrown overboard so the rest survive.
Each of us was asked in class, aisle by aisle.
At the end we were all informed that we were all dead. No one had chosen the correct answer.
The pregnant woman represented life.
The child represented hope.
The old woman…wisdom.
The strong young man, strength to survive.
The correct answer was to sacrifice oneself for the greater good.
I have no problem with triage, that is an ethical choice made every day in hospitals. Resources are limited who gets a transplant or other medical procedures is something determined by projected results and availability of those resources.
High school is a place for young adults to be exposed to ethical choices. It is part of growing up.
Thank you Ice Star - someone posting a respectful, responsible, well-presented post. Sure a rare, rare occurrence here on The Blaze.
I was JUST going to post...
I wonder what folks' 'answer to this 'test' would be if THEY were part of the group.
And as I earlier posted... I see an critical need that we do indeed move to a panel-based decision-making health care system - because WE WILL HAVE TO (actually do now) because of our limited resources. ...whether those resources be: doctors or nurses (which we have a BIG problem there RIGHT NOW) - or technological resource limitations (only so much 'equipment' available).
Like you touched on the transplant waiting list panels.
We CAN create such panels that are comprised not of profit-margin interested insurance administrators or... Political gain politicians or govt employees BUT RATHER such panels (will) need to be comprised of divested/disinterested individuals from various elements of society. Some professionals - like doctors, layers, economists / and then some patient-affiliated individuals - like folks who have or might being going thru similar situations, religious leaders, etc. - and then perhaps some others as well.
Remove the profit motive and political gain motive and yes, we can have Life Panels that will help us address these very difficult health-care related challenges.

What he practices is called Germanic Heathenism, it is a revival of the Germanic belief system that was practiced before Christianity.
I’m surprised there are so many people ignorant of other belief systems, and religious heritage.
Yes he practices Pagan religion, as do I. Of course all it takes for my fellow Americans here to show tolerance would be maybe a comment like “it’s a free country”, or “we have freedom of religion here in the USA”.
A simple web search would enlighten others as well.

Waco was under Slick Willie, the reason Tim did his evil.
Here is the info on the writer of this article. It should easily explain why the headline blames republicans for both instances. Myself I trust neither party.
Tiffany Gabbay has been a writer and communications specialist for the past decade. Her passion for politics was fostered at an early age by her father, a successful entrepreneur and war hero. Tiffany worked as a Journalist on Capitol Hill where she interviewed some of the Beltway's biggest names, and also served as Deputy Director of a Republican Women’s advocacy group. Prior to her time in the beltway, Tiffany spent a number of years in the U.K. where she began her career in publishing. She started out in London's insurance and risk management industry as associate publisher for a popular trade publication, and later served as global communications manager for an international insurance trade body based in Manchester. She is a graduate of the National Journalism Center in Washington, D.C. and studied communications at the London Institute.
@jcl: now, after giving us tiffany's bio and resume, it does not negate the fact that she did in fact make a mistake today, i have read her writings on other topics that were pure opinion based on zero fact but disguised as journalism.
it's important for people who may have not reached a level of discernment coming to the blaze and trusting the author to be presenting facts, on a news site.
Anti-socialist: I don't know who comes to The Blaze and thinks they are coming to a genuine news site. Lately all I've seen are rehashes of stories better written at other sites. This story was particularly egregiously poorly researched and written.

When will the political leaders of the West understand that Muslims are the ones responsible for their behavior…not our free speech.
I really don’t care if Muslims riot over a video of Mohamed, cartoons of Mohamed, or someone burning the Qur’an…go ahead and riot kill each other, that behavior just demonstrates to the rest of the world how barbarians behave
yes, that proves how selfish and self-centred you are.
When people are over rioting around you,,
we will see how less you care then

The Islamic part of the Earth, if they want to interact with the Free West MUST adapt to OUR free speech.
Islam is a dying “religion” that cannot withstand scrutiny or criticism. The First Amendment is our greatest weapon.
Lets not be intimidated by Barbarians into silence.

Unfortunately our need for oil is what has financed the political power of the Islamic world. Stop buying the oil, kill their economies, that would be a start.
The other problem is Islam itself.
The teachings of Mohamed need to be exposed. It is a direct command of Mohamed to spread Islam until Allah is the only deity worshiped and Sharia (Allah’s law) is the only law.

There ya go everyone, the true face of Islam exposed.
Take a good look at what the Muslim world wants to impose on all of us.

I am Republican and I support abortion rights.
I do not support abortion as a form of birth control, there are plenty of options out there for that.
My support is not for any ideological reasons but practical ones.
Women have been aborting unwanted pregnancies since women have been getting pregnant.
That will not change.
Before Roe V Wade women died from coat hanger abortions and worse. Women did die in back ally and kitchen table abortions.
What R V W did was put abortion in a controlled medical setting preformed by competent medical staff.
This moved the practice from amateurs and desperate women who would try anything to stop a pregnancy.
As I stated earlier, there are plenty of options available to both men and women to prevent unwanted pregnancies, abortion should be a “last option”.
I do not support abortion after 12 weeks unless there is rape, incest, or the life of the mother is at stake.
No girl, by that I mean no one under 16 should be forced to have a baby, children as young as 9 and 11 are getting pregnant, their bodies are not ready to carry a pregnancy.
My wife was brutally raped. The rape resulted in my son. The sin of the rapist does not transmit to my son. To say that a his life is of no value and is better dead because of his procreation is sick and abominable.
Abortion is about selfishness and convenience. It is infanticide -- murder.
I'm sick to death of people saying that abortion because of rape and incest is justifiable.

Many of the countries that have problems feeding their people have far bigger problems than water.
Most of the countries noted above are run by Muslims who systematically starve the Christians and Animists. Food and water to them are weapons.
Until there are stable governments that are run by people who are not mired in the seventh century Arabic tribalism of Sharia, the people of Africa and the Middle East will suffer.

Can’t this be brought again in another court?

I don’t understand what the problem is. So what if she writes erotica? Is she using her stories as writing examples?
The question is…is she a competent teacher? I think it is fantastic that she is a published author. Good for her. The parents need to lighten up.
