  • Is it just me or do Jay Carney and Rachel Maddow look like they could be identical twins?

  • What happened to the “Don’t tread on me” crowd? It’s his property in his driveway. He should be allowed to do what he wants with it. It’s harming NO ONE. Oh I forgot, most blazers are all about maximum freedom unless it means they might have to have an awkward conversation with their children, i.e. gay marriage, a scary painting on the neighbors wall.

  • So if Kokesh is an “anti war smear merchant” does that make Malkin a war monger? I can’t believe the lengths neocons like Malkin will go to in order to discredit honorable, courageous and smart libertarians like Kokesh. Ron Paul was literally robbed of several primary victories and his delegates were denied ANY voice at the convention, with the establishment going so far as to change the rules mid game for fear of being seen as the goons they are. I only hope that GB’s journey into libertarian theory continues and he starts calling out the rest of the “right wing” media. NR, Weekly Standard, Rush, Hannity, etc are all pulling for the establishments neocon wing. GB breaking from that group gives me a glimmer of hope, I hope it continues.

  • Sorry, but am I the only one here who agrees with him that this is an issue that should unite the left and the right? Do you all not think that companies should live up to the promises they made to their workers. This is the problem with the system today, people on the right are being tricked. These companies have pocketed billions and stashed it overseas (see Mitt Romney et al) and are no longer contributing to this countries economic security. Now after making all that money they want to cut and run and destroy an entire town in the process. Meanwhile, the left would have you believe that someone making 500k a year is rich and should be giving 70% to uncle sam. Both sides are wrong, not surprisingly both sides are funded by the same people (see Goldman Sachs). Stop buying the line that there’s an alternative media. The powers control all sides.

  • Stephanie Rosendorf is a stupid “Can’t Understand Normal Thinking” probably majoring in Fine Arts or “21st Century Feminism”.

  • @ SUPERMANSDAD- See Operation Gladio, Operation Northwoods and the Gulf of Tonkin. And while not technically a false flag, it’s a widely accepted truth that FDR had advanced knowledge of the attack on Pearl Harbor, but kept it from the commanders on the ground in Hawaii so he had a pretext to go to war in Europe. So yes, the intelligence agencies of our beloved country are more than capable of carrying out something this heinous. Do I think they did? No, but I wouldn’t be shocked if it were proven otherwise.

  • Glenn has an unhealthy infatuation with Alex Jones. I’m not some huge AJ fan, but I do visit the site. Glenn has several times taken stories first reported by AJ, repackaged it to tell basically the same story, but at the same time slamming AJ as some nut job (which in some ways he is, but than again, so is GB). GB’s making fun of the Bilderberg meetings was the biggest disgrace to date. He talks all the time about “top down, bottom up”, but dismisses the single largest gathering of people at the top as “the bees know”. It’s getting to be too much sometimes. I think GB sometimes has a messianic complex, where he needs to be the one people follow/listen to. AJ has the same problem, which naturally makes them enemies. The ironic thing is they’re on the same side. There’s carnies and rubes in this world, and AJ and GB are two of the best carnies out there today.

  • @KETTERERBG- Ignorant much? You are what’s wrong with the right in general and the liberty movement in particular. The racist/xenophobic strand running through the right these last few years is just becoming unbearable. Whether it’s the non stop b.s. about Obama being born in Kenya or the idiots who’s avatar are a caricature of Obama with every African feature accentuated. Your doing the country a disservice and making fools out of yourselves.
Now, to your comments about why Africa is the way it is. The biggest reason that Africa didn’t advance as far as Europe is geography. While Africa has several times more shoreline than Europe it has very few natural harbors. This prevented them from being able to build large ships and explore other parts of the world bringing home with them knowledge to improve their lot.
Oh, and the fact that Africa has been and continues to be a colonial playground for Europe for the last 2000+ years. But yea, you’re white skin gives you an intellectual advantage over other people. What an absurd thing to think. It’s actually quite sad and that you probably raise your children to think that is even sadder. Read a book and stop being such an ignorant person, you help nobody with these type of opinions.

  • She “convinced” her doctor to recommend her for the surgery. Ha, she orally persuaded him I bet.

  • Just by glancing at the comments it’s no shock that republicans have had their hats handed to them recently and will continue to for the foreseeable future. He stood up and defended free market principles and the frothing at the mouth homophobes jump out of the woodwork. The religious right NEEDS to learn to live and let live. As long as the government is in the business of recognizing marriage you are advocating discrimination. What business is it of yours if two people want to call their relationship a marriage? And don’t give me the “How will i explain it to my kids?” line. It’s your stupid kid you figure it out. This is not a theocracy, your religious views are not legitimate political views to be forced upon others.
