  For our well meaning friends on the left that vastly mistake the second amendment as either, a law that merely guarantees the military the right to have firearms when not engaging in war, or is somehow a vaunted license for hunters and sportsmen; we offer this notion, the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution is the fourth branch of government, a “fail-safe” guarantee so that tyranny never transforms our great republic into something that more closely resembles a liberal fascist state. Throughout history, every nation that has restricted the right of citizens to bear weapons of any type, has suffered an inevitable downfall, before this liberation takes place however, great suffering and subjugation precede. In order for an insecure government to control its people, two things must happen. First, the idea of a restriction must convey necessity, or the idea that for the nation to prosper, the restriction must happen. To associate an unfavorable restriction with necessity, associations with a pitied or defenseless group are generally made such as children, the elderly, and the less fortunate. Second, the freedom with that is to be restricted must be demonized. Our country has not been immune to these trends either, we have endured them before.
