Actually I too support the amending of the 2A. But it needs shortened not expanded. It is time to remove the explanation behind the right “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State” which seem to only confuse those intent on tyranny and just list the right itself “the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed.”
Sometimes less is more.

Once again, a lib, ignores the simple truth……Or perhaps you can show me where it is the senate that creates spending bills. Constitutionally, this CR is illegal, just as ACA is unconstitutional due to it;s creation being the senate and not the house.
Harry is a criminal who continually ignores his constitutional obligation to put forth spending bill created in the appropriate branch of congress, the house.
But who wants to let a few little pesky constitutional constraints get in the way of these illegal ‘laws of the land’
It was Reid who shut it down, trying to point the finger toward the house who were doing their jobs within constitutional guidelines is a fairytale typical of the left who never takes any responsibility for any of their actions.

Sadly, there is little difference between the (R)’s and the (D)’s. The manufactured divide has been perpetuated by the criminals from both sides of the aisle so that the corruption can continue unfettered.
While I agree the (R)’s have plenty of blood on their hands in this situation, I am not willing to exempt the other side. Some of the most egregious violations have in fact been implemented by (R) administrations, just as many have been done by the (D)’s.
But I concur with your basic message, RP has been screaming this stuff for decades, only to be marginalized and ignored by the establishment. No one can claim they weren’t warned.

Well….aren’t those fine threats from an international gun runner that should be on trial for treason?
No one should be convicted under a law that would make you a criminal for exposing illegal actions and violations of civil rights. How upside down is this world?

We now have at least a partial list of so called media outlets that can now be completely disregarded and marginalized as invalid. No real journalist would ever agree to or attend an off the record meeting with any government official, much less the prez.
In any claim they make from this day forward should just be met with the reply, that a media outlet that has secret off record meetings with the white house can not be considered valid, and marginalized and disregarded as even claiming they are the media. Make them answer to this and be accountable.
I completely agree. What is this "off the record crap"? I call it what it is-collusion.
I'm sure you had the same problem when Dick Chaney held closed door meetings in the White House with his big gas and oil executive friends, right? When asked about them his answer was "none of your business'.

56% of the people polled are IGNORANT
Ignorant of their rights
Ignorant of what rights even are
Ignorant of history
Rights are not negotiable, and they are not to be violated without reprisal. This government has declared war upon law abiding citizen of these United States. Wars have been fought over one hell of a lot less.

The SCOTUS was W-R-O-N-G on the patriot act……Dead Wrong!
Why are they debating if the law was passed that that somehow exempts the fact that it must remain within the confines of the 4A. If this action, the confiscation of American citizens information without warrant and probable cause, is determined to be within the PA. then the PA is in fact…unconstitutional. Period.
Just because they passed the law, does not supersede the COTUS. My gawd, this country is upside down.
The (R)’s lost me forever with their support and passage of the PA. they promised us that it would not be used against American citizens. I knew it was a lie then, and they have just proven me correct. The fact that many (R)’s are out there defending this action and the PA turns my stomach and makes me glad I abandoned them when they proved to be just as tyrannical as this administration is proving to be.
I can not believe the tenacity of this cretin in charge to actually stand up there and claim he can provide 100% security if we’ll just give up our privacy, what a freaking fool, no not a fool, what a freaking tyrant. Those that follow him must not have two brain cells to rub together. This country is deserving of this….we deserve neither security or freedom.
The only patriot I can see today is in fact, Edward Snowden. And like King George wanted to prosecute our founding fathers, these tyrants will not rest until this man is dead or jailed.

This is the problem with the ‘law’, just because they made one, does not mean it is a good one. Any law that protects a tyrant and or makes the victim the criminal is a bad law. Our founders knew this which is why they reconized our right to a trial by a jury of our peers. The tryants have attacked this right by ignoring the juries right to nullify and actually criminalizing it. They do not have that right either and it is our last bastion of protecting these heros, jury nullification. A man can not be convicted of violating a bad law, all juries must first judge the law before deliberating as to guilt or innocence, if the law is deemed wrong, then they must acquit.
Just another area that the sheep of this nation have allowed themselves to become ignorant of. I have been a part of juries that insist they must follow the judges orders specifically….. that’s bovine feces; and they were aghast that a simple citizen would dare to challenge the demands of the courts illegal suggestions and my insistence that the law must first be deemed appropriate. I was aghast at my fellow citizens ignorance of our rights, the burden of the state or the rights of the accused.

The “Fourth Amendment Restoration Act”
When the hell did we repeal the 4A?
I think I remember this discussion when the criminal Bush shoved his Patriot Act on us. But of course, they would neeeever use is against the people……
The government is now an enemy of the people, anyone thinking they will save us is delusional. This attack has been being perpetuated for over a hundred years now, through a score of administrations and what we are seeing now is simply theater.
I do truly hope you are prepared for what they have in store for us. If you ever wondered what it must have been like to live in 1930′s Germany…..well I think you are getting a pretty good example.

I am glad he is on our side…..
Very nice shooting. I doubt most will appreciate the skill it takes to just get close on a shot like that, much less ring the gong.

You are exactly correct. To many do not understand that the 16th amendment did not create a new class of taxes (the supreme court ruled to this) and that constitutional income does NOT include wages. In researching this, I found a great book, “Constitutional Income, Do you have any?” by Phil Hart.
He lays out the entire case law pertaining to this, including the SCOTUS cases and congressional debates during the ratification of the 16A. What they have done is illegally redefine the word “income”, ‘wages’ at the time of the passage of the 16A were not considered income. and since taxing wages is a direct tax, they are illegal unless done proportionally, which they are not. The entire tax structure is unconstitutional and illegal, yet we continue down the road of oppression and it is ignored.
Those who favor the so called ‘fair tax’ should study some history. Tariffs and taxes that unduly in proportion effected the lower classes is actually what lead to the demand of the 16A. 10% of the earnings taxed to a $15,000/yr is unduly burdening in that persons ability to live, while the same percentage on a million dollar income is not. The only true taxable income under our current legal law, does not reduce the base wealth of the taxed, thus what is today labeled as unearned income is taxable and wages are not.
We have been scammed and our wealth robbed…..yet the tyrant will imprison you for refusing to pay your illegal tax.

The (R) party self destructed. They left their conservatives behind in their march to the other side of the aisle.
I am a conservative, I am not a republican. I currently have no party nor representation in our current government, and as long as both party’s continue to march toward Marxism, I will support neither.
I will not support a president nor party that would write and support such vile legislation as the Patriot Act. I will no longer vote for the “lesser of two evils”. I vote in every election, local, national or special, that is my responsibility and duty as a citizen; but I will happily utilize my power to write in a candidate of my choice that represents my views and not be bullied into the communism / communism-lite choices they want to present us with.
If Rand wants to pander, that is his choice. But they are just getting further and further away from ever getting people like me back. Our ranks are growing, which is the real reason the (R)’s are shrinking, if they fail to see that, they can enjoy their continued decline.
When your party leaders are John (Jane Fonda) McCain, and Lindsey (I never met an illegal I didn’t like) Graham………Please quit insulting my intelligence and trying to make me believe you are not a progressive liberal dressed in a wolf’s coat.

Oh the shallow thinkers of higher education. Aren’t they going to be disappointed when they finally realize they are nothing but tools of those who will eventually cast them aside. I can hear them screaming and whining about how unfair it is already.

Think like a progressive………….
Abortion is fine….. BAN DOCTORS!!
May 25, 2013 at 11:06am
Hey Charlie…..Maybe we should apply your opinion to everything else in this nation. My rights as a taxpayer (host), trump those of the welfare recipient (parasite). Should I be allowed to kill recipients of welfare to exercise my rights and unwillingness to continue being a host? Or, should I at least be able to stop paying my taxes, thus eliminating my position as host?
You hypocritical shallow thinking regressives spend far to much time arguing against yourselves, and are completely incapable of cognitive critical thought.
There has to be some kind of logic applied to this late term abortion stuff, it is just cruel and unusual, and the old adage that ‘just because you can doesn’t mean you should’ seems appropriate as well as humane. Are you an inhumane person Charlie? Do you support torture? Does your (or my) personal rights extend to the level of inflicting harm upon another?
Perhaps someday, regressives will learn to think a little deeper that ‘this is what I want right now’
May 24, 2013 at 10:28pm
Of course he was lying, but it is nothing to concern yourselves with……this government is now above the law.
Good news for a few days, then back to the business of destroying this republic.
May 22, 2013 at 10:50pm
You are absolutely correct……any such law is outrightly unconstitutional.

OMG!! That is so refreshing to see that at least some LE has the citizens back. The issue he was talking about at the very end is so critically important and very few sheriff’s know about this. The sheriff is the most powerful LE in his county, even over federal LE. In fact, federal LE must clear their actions with the sheriff prior to taking action inside his county. The feds do not have jurisdiction, the sheriff does.
A knowledgeable sheriff with a big enough set can bring a lot of federal intrusion to a halt inside his county. This includes the Forest Service, FBI, EPA, HLS and any other federal agency. They may be our last hope, lets hope more of this country’s sheriff’s get on board with this!
