  Last time I had to fly was for work, and I went through Salt Lake City airport. I had to go through the nudie scanner. I have not flown since then and will not fly again. I’d rather drive, and I don’t care how far it is. I don’t need to go anywhere I can’t get to in my own truck (or on the Goldwing).

  Besides, nowadays I have personal piercings and they’d probably want to “check them out visually” or some salacious crap.

  Hey people, don’t forget – the ‘auto 18%’ was applied to the whole table, but EVERYONE LEFT CASH. Everyone in the party left cash on the table for the server. The server had no right to complain…however it wasn’t the server who complained! Some other snooty girl got butt-hurt over someone else’s issue, stuck her nose in, and got fired for her effort. You don’t like being waitstaff? Find another job. Being butt-hurt doesn’t give you the right to slander someone’s name over the internet. Idiot.

  Bull. My one and only pregnancy was due to a burst condom. I had no idea I was even pregnant for three months, until my tube burst at 3AM. I thought it was appendicitis. It wasn’t. I had a tubal pregnancy. It was a girl.

  After that, I tried for six years to get pregnant with my husband. SIX YEARS. We tried everything short of IVF. Nothing. I gave up.

  It is what it is. But yes, just one time, not even full penetration, or even using birth control – it CAN happen. I had to let them take my baby or I would have died. I spent many years grieving but I know it was necessary.

  It was a hard thing for me, and I would like to think that women would not take abortion lightly. I know that some do – ex friends of mine, whom I never thought would do such a thing – but most people I know wouldn’t.

  It’s so, so sad.

  I see I am a little behind on the comments…but…folks, this is ALREADY happening in the veterans’ community. If you have certain issues (or a combination of issues) your right to own a firearm is taken away, period. How do I know? My husband is a mentor of vets in jail, in Veterans Court. This is ALREADY happening, and remember Obama said he wants to have Obamacare mirror the VA??

  This started coming years ago, folks…with the VA Medical System, upon which this new Tracking System is based. The VA is telling people that (for example) unless they quit smoking, they can’t get a sleep study done – which would give someone a life-saving CPAP machine. It’s completely true – this is my husband I’m talking about. He has used a CPAP for years, and every year we’d go in and get a ‘tune up’…he wanted to do another study to see where his oxygen levels were at. They told him no, until he quit smoking. I was astounded.

  It’s only going to be more intrusive, and it’s going to get worse, quick. Duck n Cover, folks.
