  Thank you Friend. Your comment delegitimizes 2,000 years of antiSemitism and charges of deicide against Jews. If not for the Christian belief in the crusifiction & resurection of Jesus there would be no Christianity. If you believe it was God’s plan for Jesus to die for humanity then if God is perfect and used the Jews as His tools and part of His plan…then antiSemitism is a fraud.

  Rose-Ellen, I just wished I knew which dugs you are on. You spew your hateful rhetoric – solidly untrue against Jews and Israel. There are no native Arabs to Palestine, Arabs for the most part came out from under some rock in the Arabian peninsula and under Mohammad the pedophile conquered most of northern africa and what is now called middle east. Not all Israeli jews are european, majority of Jews in Israel come from arab countries and african counries, no to mention those who never left. and other countries they were tossed out of in 1948. Most of Jordan is comprised of arabs who call themselves palestinian. That is the true homeland.for arabs in mandated palestine. .

  This is really a moot argument. Religion is narrow in its specific dogma. There are at least three religions who recognize God (the creator) in full or part, so singing about one’s Nation and referencing God is not a religious event…it is a philosophical event as to whether or not one believes in the very existance of God (as religionists do and atheists do not). Therefore, it is not an issue of religion – for or against, but rather just a philosophical view. The position the FFR people take is a false one and I reject its premise.

  Cesum – interesting point. But I read an article by a Jewish sage recently…and the 6 days of creation were written by the original authors metaphorically. Frankly I think all religion is a bunch of hokum and snake oil…but even the Pope said that the story of Creation in the Old Testament does not necessarily conflict with the so called “big bang” theory.
