  I don’t know why so many are saying it’s a freedom of speech issue, it’s more of a freedom of religion issue. Now I myself don’t have a religion, nor believe in a higher power, however just because I do not does not mean other’s don’t.

  I think that if you want to show your religion or have clubs or what not, you should be able to without repercussions. If you were trying to shove religion down peoples throats, that’s a different story, however this does not seem to be the case here.

  I believe unless these religious clubs or members are not causing any problems and not trying to tell others they will go to Hell for not believing, then they should be allowed to express their freedom of religion right.

  First off to all those that are being hateful and prejudiced against Atheists and anyone that dosen’t believe in “your religion”, you need to take a step back and review yourself. You need to leave the Judging to God if you are a “Christian”, because isn’t that what it basically say’s in the Bible?

  Now on to another topic which I am very well studied on, OBE’s, or more commonly known as “Out of Body Experience”. An OBE, is where you leave your physical body and travel in you “spiritual” one, you may call it your “ghost” form if you are uncomfortable with “spirit”.

  Many people claim to have OBE’s and it does not just happen to adults, but can happen to anyone. Many people claim to have an OBE while in a coma, they describe a scene where they are floating in mid air or standing and observing themselves and anyone else in the room. They can sometimes understand what’s happening and sometimes they can’t, but all who have this experience can claim to the simple fact that they were conscious through out the ordeal.

  Now there is other names for this phenomenon such as: Astral Traveling and Astral Projection, some people claim you can learn to “astral travel”, that may be true, but I have yet to accomplish that. Now if you want to go deeper into this subject, you can look at quantum leaping, it’s the mixture between quantum physics and astral travel and is rather interesting.

  @PONDMANHANK What does that have to do with this article? I don’t see how you get from the Boy Scouts to political elections.

  I mean, I am voting for Mitt Romney,but I am just saying that the post in question doesn’t really have a place in this Article, it would best be reserved for a political one. Even then if you found one, you need to specify on what you are talking about. Your post is really just made up of rambling and no solid foundation on which to base what you are truly talking about.

  It is the same for LGBT’s, they let people know so they can have a relationship with someone who believes as they do.

  I apologize, I thought someone had taken down my post and like anyone who believes in what they say and think someone took down what they said because it disagreed with them I reacted harshly.

  Apparently this site doesn’t like it when you mention “religion” in a non-supportive way.

  Though I will post this, it will sum up my other post before it was so rudely taken down by mod’s that can’t stand someone questioning their religion.

  I think religion is a poor excuse to deny this guy’s right to be an Eagle Scout, which is a great honor in the Boy Scouts. I will say again that those who use religion in this manner are close minded egotistical hypocritical people that can’t seem to understand that religion is a “Go-around-Come-Around” type of thing. When a “Christian” see’s something they don’t like that disagrees with their beliefs, they shun it. Though you let a “Christian” do something that contradicts their beliefs they ignore it and pretend it’s not sin.

  Sin is sin yall, understand that before you consider even thinking about going to Heaven.

  Well there you go, religion at it again, yes the family knew how the organization stood on homosexuality because of their close minded egotistical selves, but maybe they were hoping for a change of heart seeing as what you have to go through to become an eagle scout.

  Religion is something that has been debated for centuries and will continue to be debated on, but I believe that if you “really” are a “christian” as you claim, then you need to stop with all of this “I don’t like ‘homosexuals’ because God said so”. You know God said “Though shall not judge” oops looks like you already sinned on that account by denying him his right to be an eagle scout because you judged him on his sexuality. Also God said “Love thy neighbor” Oops there’s another sin (yall are just racking up aren’t yall?) because yall aren’t showing much love by denying him because of his sexual orientation.

  Christians are so easy to jump on the religious boat when someone else does something that “disagrees” with their “religious” belief, but you let a christian do something that conflicts with the bible and it’s “all good”, because they turn around andignore it and pretend they didn’t just commit a sin. Sin is sin, no matter what you do, so just keep that in mind when yall think yall are going to heaven.

  @GOLDI-LOX Ahh, OK, just a misunderstanding, I apologize. I agree with you and I wish more people would see it this way.

  America is going down and fast no is this all to blame on Obama? No, we were in bad shape before he took office, but he didn’t help any and is turning this country into the direction of communism. That’s why I want Romney in, now is he all that and a bag of chips? No, he has his faults, but he is a stepping stone in the right direction and will help get our country back to where it needs to be.

  Some may say I am racist and that’s why I want Romney, that is not true, if Herman Cain was still running I would have voted for him. I seen the stuff the press and media were saying about his past, but that’s just it, it was his “past”. Everyone makes mistakes.

  Obama like many politicians has made many promises and like most he didn’t fulfill them, but what makes him different from all the rest was his attitude.He went golfing for times than not, vacation to Hawaii and other hot spots, etc… While we the American population suffered, it wasn’t just Whites either it was also Blacks and Hispanics and every other American citizen.

  So when you vote, take into consideration of who would be the “BEST” candidate not the one who can make the most promises.

  @GOLDI-LOX Where in my post did I say “Innocent”? Also on another note I made it clear (or so I thought) that people blame there mistakes or actions on “religion” to much. It has gotten worse over the years, everyone wants to say (that is most Christians), that the “devil” must have made that happen or “demons” must have possessed them, causing them to act this way.

  In essence you and them are giving a way out of a crime, a way out of taking blame. Whether or not God and Satan (Lucifer) is real is beside the point. Religion has always acted as a scapegoat, and to those who believe in God tend to believe the person that claims they were doing god’s work or the demon posses ed them and to those who don’t believe in God just rule them insane.

  Either way they have a way out, I pointed that out to “Hoot_Owl”, because she basically said the devil was controlling her, so don’t you see that we are just giving people a way out of the crime they committed ALONE, they know what they were doing, they understand what they were doing, they didn’t have a “Spirit” possessing them, they just wanted to use the excuse to try and get out of the crime and if you know law, when she goes in the courtroom they will plead “temporary insanity” or “mentally unstable” then she will go to a correctional facility and be released a couple of months later.

  I also pointed out that “Hitler” used the same method or scapegoat, he claimed he was doing “God’s” will.
