Though I agree with Gingrich here, the only person worth listening to really at this event, was Rand Paul. I’m sick of these politicians, going on and on about social conservatism. Though I do not believe everyone who claims to be gay, is actually gay (there are gays who even say this). I’m sick of the gay marriage debate. Who the hell cares if two people in love wish to marry (TWO PEOPLE). I think abortion is absolutely horrid, but these idiots always fall into the trap when asked about abortion- giving ammo to silly leftist.

You state you’re against it, unless the woman’s life/health is at risk. You state how the choice is between the woman, her family, the man if involved, and most of all- god if she believes, DONE. Unfortunately they get all into this other crap, slip up and say something stupid- and get pegged at some woman hating religious nut that wants to control what goes on in your bed room. Then they spend more time defending against that, than talking about issues that really matter.. GET OFF THE SOCIAL ISSUES!

We have an out of control gov, people losing freedom more so every day, terrible economy, weakening of military, when major war is probably not too far off. An outdated weak power grid, that could put us in the dark for god knows how long if a terrorist decides to attack it (which would be easy), and people wanna talk about gay marriage and abortion- give me a break.

So proud of these people, very proud for standing up the way they did. I have absolutely no respect for military, or police- who carry out orders that either puts American civilians or soldiers in danger, or further takes their freedom away. The man fought this in court, because what was being done to him was wrong. When he lost in court, he decided to stand up still, very awesome.

I think this will probably give others the courage, to start standing up a bit more aggressively- towards out of control government.

Conservatives always fall into the left-wing trap on social issues, which turns off many independents, and even libertarians like myself. In a little debate I had not too long ago, someone asked me about gay marriage, and abortion- and my response…

“Government has no place in marriage, nor is marriage mentioned in the constitution. So I am in favor of two consenting adults wanting to form a union. However I would protect the religious rights of churches who do not believe in gay marriage, as protecting the religious rights IS in the constitution.” Done, there’s no need to talk about what your faith says, you’re not governing with your bible, but with the constitution.

On abortion I talked about how sad it is, how it is, the history of it, what the woman may feel after it, but ultimately the choice is between her, family, and god if she believes- if her life is in danger. I talk about how barbaric late term abortion is, and how giving the child up for adoption is best, and how we need to fix adoption procedures in this country. Done, this whole no abortion no exception is absolute rubbish stupid, or trying to ban contraceptives.

I’m fiscally conservative, as it is common sense. Socially I am a liberal in its true original meaning- as it is based on freedom and individualism- not controlling what goes on in someone else personal life.

We know that many within the Republican party also favor big gov, but I’m going to be blunt.. Many conservatives are just plain and simply stupid, and lazy! Stop talking about social issues, and Jesus- you’re not a political church, and if you’re all for getting gov out of people’s lives, I don’t want to hear crap about gay marriage or abortion. Make a strong case for the free market, preach the constitution, individualism, why and how big gov policies reduce freedoms and rights. Majority of Americans are dumb, and need to hear and be taught these things, but conservatives are just too damn lazy and stupid.

Games that have random wild violence for the sake of it, and no good story, mediocre gameplay, never sell well. I wasn’t the least bit surprised GTA sold so many copies, the series has a lot of fans, fans that are mostly in their late 20′s 30′s and 40′s- and they wanna see what happens, and yeah its fun, and funny. If you want games that have violence for the sake of violence with nothing to it, then you can find one of those hate games, in which you go about killing blacks, Hispanics or gays… But you’ll never see a game like that sponsored by any major developer, or corporation like Sony or Microsoft.

In the end it all boils down to the parent’s responsibility. If you’re buying little Johnny Call of Duty, Grand Theft Auto, Gears of War, or Saints Row; then you’re a crap parent. Retailers will not sell these games to little kids, and if you’re letting your kid use your card to order it online, then again you’re a crap parent.

Can and will they get to these games? Sure the way kids have always sneaked about either messing in daddy’s hidden porn stash, or sneaking into that R rated film. If you’re not an involved parent, meaning you don’t talk to your kids about the world, society, life- then don’t be surprised lol. There’s no excuse either. My dad died when I was a baby, my mother never remarried, and worked a lot. My brother and I played loads of video games some of them pretty violent, watched and read a lot of violent Japanese comics or animation, yet never got in any kind of trouble, and did very well in school, always informed in what was going on in the world, and were often told we were wise for our age… Its because we had a great mother who made sure she was involved in what was going on in our world- wanted to know what we believed- and I remember getting into awesome long talks about history, politics, god, everything.

There are also games that have very little violence, or violence on PG13 level, but still not for little kids, as the themes can be way over their heads, and no I’m not talking about sexual stuff. A game I played back in 1998 and loved, had a lot of religious and psychology in it- was a good game very deep story, great graphics for its time, and awesome awesome awesome beautiful music. It was Xenogears.

Another game which I’m currently playing is Final Fantasy XIV, the bad guys of the story are portrayed as cold power hungry and godless, to mention haters of those who believe in god. The lyrics of one of the main bosses, was in Latin, and when I translated it, it summed up the character of the bad guys perfectly, and immediately reminded me of every dictator who has hated religion namely Christianity, and wanted to control man and shape man in his own image. These guys are portrayed as evil to the core.

Thank you, and same here. My brother and I pay huge attention to the political world- always thought that was important. When I was 12, I remember my older brother bringing home a game magazine, that talked about the making and coming of Street Fighter II, which made everyone crazy in 1992 lol. After reading that I wanted to become a game designer, and I’ve been so inspired by many of the good games, and their stories I have played, and see it as another venue to tell the story, but when Conservatives complain about it, I see yet another thing they will allow progressives to take over, and shape culture… Which is why social Conservatives annoy me.

Video games don’t have a lot of leftist ideology pushed in them, and the ones that do- don’t do so well. Games like Call of Duty, have always made people have more appreciation for what the guys in the military do, and the stories have been quite awesome, at least the Modern Warfare series, the old Call of Duty games used to constantly focus on WWII, which became kinda old. The developers have consulted with military, even conservative think tanks at times, and the story of this Modern Warfare series, is actually kinda scary as what goes on it, could happen in real life, because of how dumb and sloppy this country is being.

Another game developer Ubi Soft, bought the rights to a lot of Tom Clancy’s works- and again the stories are awesome, and their most anticipated game “The Division” is inspired from yet another one of Clancy’s works.

Main characters in GTA have always been anti-heroes, and have been white, black, and Hispanic- and the bad guys or at least their rivals have also been white black and Hispanic. In this one (my brother hasn’t yet opened it up to play it), the story revolves around 3 characters, one is a black guy- don’t remember what the other guy looked like, but the one I’ve seen in most trailers is a middle aged white male, with a family who seems to be living a double life.

GTA (Grand Theft Auto) is an old series, and many of the people buying it, are doing so because they liked the series. I never cared for GTA, and one day watched my brother play it; GTA IV, I liked the story, kinda reminded me of a more modern Scarface- and I liked it. The game is not about doing random acts of violence on people, you can if you want to, as it is a sandbox game- which means anything can happen, but the game actually has a story and interesting ones at that. GTA was pretty tame when it first came out in the 90′s, but its grown up and become more adult as its fans did- though I never cared for it until IV.

Back in the late 80′s and the entire 90′s which tends to be called “the golden era” of gaming. Japan was #1 in game developing, with the majority of popular games like Resident Evil, and Silent Hill coming out of Japan and doing very well in western countries. Many gamers even ordered games from Japan that were either too risque, to come to a western country, or just wasn’t picked up by a western distributor, I was one of those gamers who bought a lot of games straight from Japan, that were not coming to the States. I also grew up reading Japanese comics, and watching Japanese animation- lots of violence and strong adult themes- never got in trouble, but more importantly… Why do we not hear the level of violence we hear in America, in Japan?

Grew up playing video games, still do; and now make them. Game industry is bigger than the movie, and music industry combined, which is something I never imagined happening back in the day. Like movies, some games are for kids, some for everyone, and some for adults. Games like this are for and marketed towards adults NOT kids. When you go to the releasing of games like this, you’re going to see a bunch of people in their 20′s 30′s 40′s and 50′s. The average age of a gamer is 34 and up. The gaming industry has grown up with the gamers who have been playing games since they were little kids playing Atari, and then the first Nintendo console, and Sega.

The ONLY politicians that should be supported are those who are constitutional conservative libertarians (highly respecting, and following the constitution)- and doesn’t try to infringe upon people’s personal lives. Screw social conservatives, I don’t need nor want politicians telling me how I should be in my personal life. If I wanna be a prostitute do coke, have sex with men and women and marry a man- then leave me alone. Maximum freedom, maximum responsibility- I can easily do all of that now if I wish; thing is, I have no desire to do so… And screw leftist/progressives.

There’s also a Tea Party in Japan, and of course England too.

  • July 13, 2013 at 4:11pm

LOL Like I said, I’m a Christian and cannot stand people like Skippy who call themselves Christian. I do believe in heaven, but you don’t go there if you were a good little Christian. Good or bad when you die your soul returns to god, and you cease to exist… Which means I also do not believe in hell. During the resurrection those who do/did have love for god in their heart, and or accept it- are resurrected. There are many people who even when they are shown great things, will still reject it, or just have hearts so evil they want nothing to do with it, they won’t be resurrected or remembered.

Ugh Rangerskippy sounds like a religious nut- that makes Christians look crazy. I’m a Christian and have listened to Rock/Metal/punk since I was 8.. I never felt “rebellious”, and there are some bands out there that do sneak in a lot of Christian themes into their music, which I find awesome, very well done artistically at that… Then we have people like you throwing scripture about- and more than likely don’t fully truly understand it.

The Christian faith NOT supposed to be dour and sterile- you can speak and live the truth without behaving like that… Which only will turn people away.

If Republicans, and Conservatives were smart.. They’d say the only reason why the media doesn’t care to talk about it, is because most of the babies, and the females- including the ones who died, were black.

  • May 4, 2013 at 12:25am

Awesome stuff, but how about using the profits to create schools, and hire real teachers- that will rival public schools, and even many universities. This does not mean everyone is supposed to be praying in school- though nobody should be attacked or fired for expressing their faith, as people are in public schools. This means kids not having their heads filled with left-wing propaganda rubbish, and being taught things that are actually going to help them in today’s world, and REAL history.

  • May 2, 2013 at 2:26pm

Obama sucks yes, but so do Republicans, and many Conservatives- who are great at talking about how great god is, but suck big time- when it comes down to making a bold, inspirational, clear case for capitalism, and why smaller gov is better- and how bigger gov strips freedoms away in all areas. The Republicans have got to get it together. Be the party that defends people’s religious rights/freedoms- but stop trying to be a political church, stop putting people out there who say dumb and ridiculous things.
