This website has gotten HORRIBLE…… can’t even view it as it is so bloated with ads, JAVA, Flash, etc, it makes EVERY browser crash. Going to the BLAZE used to be FUN…. now it’s a nightmare. STOP with all the pop ups that require me to click “ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO LEAVE THIS PAGE”…. God help me.
EVERYONE……….. please post this everywhere and keep sending the message.
Are you using an Ad Block yet, and which browser are you using?
I fully agree. I've emailed them, posted comments like yours to no avail. The Blaze couldn't care less about our comments unless it has curse words that might offend someone. It even uses more data on my data plan than any other website.
Kaspersky. 50 bucks a year. Wipes every Blaze ad like it wasn't even there.
I took Monk's advice as RJJ did and I only have a few problems when it comes to viewing a video. I use Adblock and Ghostery. On Ghostery, I only allow Sailthru Horizon and (sadly) Google Analytics. Browser if Mozilla Firefox. Also clear your cache. I try to remember to do that every hour or so and it makes things run faster as well.
I like th site, but I can't read an article without an ad popping up and it having to be reloaded. I use an iPad and I'm not that savvy with how to stop it.
The site used to be great. I think I'm going to read the headlines and then find the article on Drudge.
Adblock on Chrome fixed it for me. It blocks 12-17 ads every time. Most sites maybe 4, but Blaze 17? The ad trollers love it here
It should not be up to the user to figure out a way to "fix" this site. I think a boycott is in order ..I can find most of this info on Drudge anyway .. WHO'S HAD ENOUGH?
I totally agree, that between the sound coming up out of nowhere and pop ups and reloads, makes it not worth going on from an Iphone for sure.
Nevertheless; This article goes to show how the ineptness of government in general and serves as another reminder that the government should be cut by at least 80%
VOTE OUT ALL REPUBLICANS IN THE NEXT PRIMARY!!!! As they have proven to be worthless. SEND IN NEW BLOOD.
Use Google Chrome…in settings..click “show advanced settings”…click content settings….click block third party cookies…scroll down…check “click to play” plugins…scroll down…check..”do not allow any website to track my physical location”….close content settings....check box that says “Send a do not track request with your browser traffic”….scroll down to the bottom…make sure you uncheck “continue running back ground apps when google chrome is closed”…..go to manage search engines…delete all but google……next while in settings….left side click extensions…..next click “get more extensions”….at the chrome webstore type adblock plus and hit enter…..there are several adblock apps…make sure you install the one that is from adblock.org…..install it…after it is installed a page will open with adblock plus settings….slide all three sliders to on…then at the top of the page click the link..”disable”..a box will open..uncheck the box that says “allow some non intrusive advertising”…close adblock…at the chrome webstore install ghostery…..after installed open ghostery options….scroll down…under trackers click select all….scroll to top of page..click advanced tab…set dismiss to 3 seconds…scroll to bottom of page and click save…close ghostery….after going to the blaze left click ghostery and allow Google Analytics…NDN Analytics…NDN Player Suite…Sail Through Horizons…click reload page…no more ads/popups…enjoy
If an ad ever slips through with adblock plus...right click the ad and select block element...gone forever
Using AdBlock and Crome, no Ads for me.
Here is how I beat "The Blaze" into submission on my Windoze 7, 32bit, quad-core desktop system running FireFox as my browser.
The following are all Add Ons for FireFox:
Install Ghostery: Once you get to "The Blaze", Ghostery will detect about 20 "nefarious activities" going on (way more than any site I visit, including paid and free pooorn). To view the COMMENTS section you must leave Google Analytics and Sailthru enabled.
Install NoScript, seems to work on default settings.
Install AdBlock Plus, seems to work on default settings.
Install Flash Stopper, this prevents auto-play audio and video files from starting on their own.
With this setup you may not be able to see a few photos when you open an article on "The Blaze", but if something is interesting you can pause Ghostery by right-clicking it at the top right of FireFox, you can also temporarily disable NoScript in the same manner for articles you may want to see all the visual content...be sure to re-enable them when leaving "The Blaze".
I am all for Beck advertising and making money, but "The Blaze" is the most aggressive web-site I visit. At work the auto-play media files are particularly annoying I consider it unprofessional of "The Blaze" to have these things running, if one has their volume up on the computer at work, your co-workers get annoyed as you struggle to close it down.
How about the headlines - you have no clue what the article is about because they want you to have to click on every one to get more pageviews. I completely agree. The staff here has made it clear they want the site to be nothing but clickbait articles and malicious ads. I've been here since Day 1 and am just disgusted. Serving malware to the customers and not caring makes Mr. Beck look like a snake oil salesman. Seriously, they are even censoring pictures on the frontpage now so you have to click the article. I don't know of a single site on the internet that stoops that low.
Ad-block is the only way you can make this site tolerable.
I have so many blockers on this now and it works fine, I use Firefox and I install all the add ons that prevent all that junk: NoScript, Anonymox, Flash Block, Better Privacy, AddBlck Plus, AddBlock Plus PopUp Addon and Element Hiding Helper.
Now the problem is, I cant figure out how to run Blaze Radio. I use Vista Ultimate still so cant load the latest explorer, hate Chrome, outright refuse to install it. And Firefox, even when allowing all permissions and disabling all blocking, still says " Station not found". And cant get iHeartRadio to work on either explorer or firefox. Very frustrating. I can finally read The Blaze in "peace" but I cant do anything else with all the other programs expecting backdoor access to everything as well....
It is truly frustrating. I know he needs to make money, but not at the cost of losing his customers
Agree with you completely --- I sent an email to Glenn Beck complaining about this but it did not do much good.
I have never seen an ad on this website before. I don't know what you are talking about. Maybe it's the browser you are using.
"The man is still responsible for arrears that accrued up to the termination date, as well as for interest that accrues after the termination date." Now that makes a lot of sense. Perhaps Mr. Wonderful - Rick Perry should stop posing for pictures and do something. Though texas a few things right....
Firefox NoScript. AdBlock Ghostery No problems for me on an XP HP Probook
I get zero pop ups

All I know is that trying to read the Blaze.com is like going to a bad porn website. Intrusive ads, java scripts, flash ads, that make it IMPOSSIBLE to even view it.
Blaze is run by someone who thinks trinkets and beads are like Gold. That a shiny nickel is worth more than a dime..
Absolutely the worst ad strategy on the entire internet. Also the rudest!

Will someone PLEASE… PLEASE… ask the president if he EVER tried to log on to the site prior to the launch?
ANY CEO would have done it, why didn’t he?

“They’ll warn that tyranny always lurking just around the corner. You should reject these voices. Because what they suggest is that our brave, and creative, and unique experiment in self-rule is somehow just a sham with which we can’t be trusted.”
Anyone that uses the Phrase "If you have do nothing wrong you have nothing to fear" is a moron and should not be listened to
Further anyone that has followed the absolute ABUSE of CURRENT law content providers have done knows that SOPA is a TERRIBLE law and should be opposed by EVERYONE.
Further if you have any regards to online Security, esp DNSSEC, then you also know that SOPA makes the Internet Less Secure
So save the Hyperbolic "save the children" non-sense, only a moron would buy in to that
I agree with the ancient one.Oh, one more thing ,if you have nothing to hide, then why is there no bio in the about us page of the web site?Isn't that just a little hypocritical?
@objectivetruth lol, and they do not even publish there WhoIS info, they used GoDaddy a HUGE SOPA supporter and used they Proxy service to shield their identity
Domains By Proxy, LLC
Registered through: Go Daddy
Domain Name: STOPTHEJUNK.COM
Plus they disallowed comments on that post... Cowards all of them
Fortunately, even Godaddy came around and dropped their support of SOPA after a huge backlash. These charges of Wikipedia and Google supporting the exploitation of minors is just an absurd charge. I would try to make a compelling argument against it but if you believe that then I don't see how any amount of logic can get through.
Saying that Wikipedia supports that is like saying that Obamacare will fix the healthcare system or that Gingrich will clean up politics.
Carry a GUN, not a steel rod. Rule #1 when you’re a cop, never get filmed swinging DOWN at someone. You always swing up or sideways. With a gun, he would have appeared to be in “self defense mode” and no case. Get it?

This is what happens when the BAD 10% of society makes the GOOD 90% suffer and pay for their irresponsible behavior.
When the national anthem plays next time, they should turn their backs and refuse to take off their hats. If the country is turning against them, show no respect back. http://www.ISeeDanger.com

Why would President Obama bring a “camera crew” with him when he recently greeted the bodies of dead soldiers coming home in caskets? You want a “mortifying opportunist”? You simply have to look at your current leader. By the way, they did allow a few pictures to “slip out”.
