Don’t you mean ” otherly-abled”? Come on get with the PC program and stop being an ableist! I remember a few years back some disabled person advocacy group claiming 75% of all people have some form of disability.

The more laws there are, the less agreement as to their fairness. Then people start to pick and choose which laws they will obey, starting with the minor ones, but quickly sliding down a slippery slope. Too many laws and we can end up in anarchy.

A braid would definitely be more formal.

Politically he was Conservative-ish, which is why they won’t let him rest.
Much more that "conservative-ish" he was far right actually.
The Liberals were trying to get him out the very moment he was elected because he instantly cut back gov't jobs and un-necessary taxes.

The day the U.S. has open borders is the day the largest flotilla in history sets sail . I’d say about 200 million Red Chinese will “immigrate”. And what are you going to do about it?

“Mothers of the Movement”? That says a lot. I think the Soviet Union handed out medals to “Mothers of the Movement” types, Nazi Germany did for sure.

The Bolsheviks manipulated legitimate grievances with the Czar. But in the end those grievances were minor compared to what the Bolsheviks did weren’t they?

It doesn’t remind me of Lenin et al, it reminds me our Canadian politicians. Hey, btw, Trudeau Senior was best buddies with Castro. Canadian Human Rights Tribunals are Kangaroo Courts where the truth is not a defense. Our country’s shame, one of them anyway.
Well, "our" president is a bigger buddy of Castro, so there.

The cops are the ones who ultimately will enforce a gun-free zone. Lets see how they like it. Being unarmed leaves everyone a sitting duck. Besides, having some officers on duty on campus is still a possibility.

I kind of understand the students’ concerns. Maybe for different reasons though. I think the police should not be allowed firearms on Campus IF the students are not allowed to carry, and I don’t honestly know if they are or not. They are there to be housed, not for policing purposes, therefore they are not on duty. Off duty police officers should not be afforded any more “privileges” than “regular” citizens are. Jump down my throat in 3, 2, 1…
Even off duty, they could be subject to attack a la Dallas and Baton Rouge. Removing their firearms would leave them sitting ducks.
So..."Istandalone". Use a little common sense. How can they respond to a real emergency. You do understand the more steps to respond could and would cause peoples lives.
SO..they those students and the University. If they is a real emergency where they need everyone 'On Deck'. That the extra time to respond can cause deaths of people. Maybe even their own lives. And that of other students. Not to mention "students of color, queer* and trans* students". SO if people do die. They have only themselves to blame. And if something does happen and more people die. Those people should be brought up as part of the reason more people died.
Funny how students that have no experience, no expertise, no knowledge are dictating how to do things. That would be like a two year old running a household.
And the trans issue is total B.S.. What worse is. This maybe someone that is bigoted to begin with. Because many transgenders don't like the word "trans".

Ice Tea is to Metal Like the Monkeys were to Rock, both highly contrived and phony.

Anti-semite, racist, neo-Nazi, blah, blah, blah and a big Ho Hum, These terms have become meaningless now. A little too much crying wolf. The attention grabbing shock value of these phrases wore off about 15 years ago.

Judging a person as an individual is all good and fine in theory, except that when all others but Whites can still have racial pride and it’s ok to attack people for being White, it just becomes suicide for us “privileged” folk.
Don't you know...we've had it too good for too long and it's payback time. The new definition of "equality".

When I read the headline of the story I thought his reaction was going to be “Hey, this is kinda fun, not scary at all. I think I’ll get me one of these!” Silly, silly, me.

So it’s any different if in the dark I mistakenly crack my son over the head with a baseball bat or drive a knife into his gut? Or do you expect everyone to run away and abandon their family like you obviously would?

Unlike mushy, crappy popular music of today or the golden oldies of the 1960′s and 70′s, Metal knows no age group, never has, never will. I’ve been to hard core death metal concerts with people from their early 20′s to people in their 60′s attending. Once saw an 80 something year old woman at a Metallica concrete and she was having the time of her life. Metal is an attitude, not a musical fad. You either get it or you don’t.

Actually the word “only” should have been added before six months. I honestly read the headline and thought people in California were pee’d off he got too much time.

Time to end segregation in sports, just make all competitions and teams open to anyone. No more controversy. No more funding disputes. No more advantages for transgenders. No one will have the right to complain. Lets see how the feminists like that one.
