  From a quick skim it seems like many posters are, for lack of a better word upset. I understand if you don’t agree, but Glenn has been hinting at this for awhile now, he’s mentioned all the pieces over at least the past few months. The hit us over the head all week as he lead up to it. It’s a big step and I understand where he is going with it. I honestly do not know if it will ever get off the ground, but the CONCEPT is the more important thing.

  I work with a BUNCH of liberals and day after day it gets very tiring holding the line as the only conservative. However I am starting to get a few of the non MSNBC watchers to open their eyes, I’ve seen the change in their thinking but it is slow going. But I want to MOVE to Independence USA should it happen! I think it’s a very exciting prospect.

  I live in NC, and program touch screens at work quite a bit so I’d like to think I understand what the issue is.

  What I dearly hope they are referring to is since the ballot machines here are touch screen, sometimes when you push on coordinate x,y; the processor see’s it at a different set of coordinates, something like x-10,y+5 (for example). Somewhere in the machine you can “calibrate” the touchscreen to match up the coordinates like they should be.

  Now don’t go into “this doesn’t happen on my phone” kind of device. This is something I’ve come across many times in “older” designed hardware (early 2000′s) and it’s been about that time when we changed from paper to electronic machines.

  I do hope I am on the right track. If this is something else, god help us all.
