  In order to be “disgraced”, you need to have some Grace in the first place. A.W. hasn’t any of that particular property since he took on Huma Abedin in order to beard for Hilary.

  You don’t hear anything more about it do you…?

  Huma is a practicing Muslim whose family is very well connected to the Muslim Brotherhood. How does that work???? A Jewish Congressman, A Muslim Princess, a Family of Brotherhood activist, Hilary’s girlfriends, Bill’s girlfriends, Benghazi’s secrets, an absent President…. none of it fits together until you realize they all have one thing in common, a desire to see the United States brought down a few notches and drowning in a muddy ditch.

  I’ll bet you $1M bucks that is not what Joe Kline was espousing in the 1960s….!

  I haven’t looked it up, I don’t know for sure, but all these ASP-CLOWNS have the same problem at some point. They scream REVOLUTION at the top of their lungs until the regime they wish to topple falls, and then they find themselves fighting the charges of hypocrisy as they mount the new one and try to ride it for all its worth!

  They finally get THEIR regime in and find themselves as the “conservatives”… its sooooo pathetic and then to hear them claim their Intellectual Superiority…. pfft…….

  I disagree with the premise of the article. The notion that the “Administration” hasn’t learned assumes they are doing the same thing as before, and that (having ended disastrously) they wouldn’t do the same thing again out of the understanding that a repeated disaster would be insane.

  But… what if you don’t make those assumptions?

  What if “An emergency should never go to waste”? What if a general collapse required yet more government take-overs? What if there is STILL too much spending on defense and the impetus for choosing between “Guns and Butter” is still not clear enough to force and agreement to buy the “Butter” instead?

  What if…. a general collapse was the kind of “emergency” that is need to take even more draconian steps to retain a leader with the experience to continue to manage it all despite a term-limit law necessitating a CHANGE in leadership? If Bloomberg can do it as a Republican, why can’t a Democrat do it as a President?

  All you would really need… would be a situation in which there were no jobs for all the DHS people to retreat to if they should want quit in protest of a direct order they find distasteful or even illegal, ammo, drones, a means of automatically shutting off the power and water in a city (for example a city with 100% “Smart Meters” installed), and some armored vehicles to get to the locations with the most resistance to said “Emergency”?

  What if THAT was far, far more important than mortgages above

  On campus it’s a bit different. They OWN the “cops”! In fact, they have speech codes, no 2nd Amend rights AT ALL, no property rights, and can administratively dismiss you (read: Execute your career and investment) at ANY time for almost any reason they want.

  They are VERY comfortable with soft dictatorship and the law apparently supports THEM as they acclimate their minions to accept living in that kind of environment. You can loose the battle instantly if you give them ANYTHING upon which to muddle the actual facts of the incident.

  There is a really, really GREAT movie that demonstrates the situation exactly. Its a 1965 MGM film by Sydney Lumet called,… “The Hill”….. its OUTSTANDING….!

  A similar idea, would be ships at sea, outside the coastal waters, operating in International waters. For Example, “Hospital Ships” that would NOT need to conform to Obamacare (socialized “medicine”). You would use the new kind of hulls, SWATH Hulls with Helo decks like… LCS-2, USS Independence. SHE… is an awesome machine… and S…M….Oooooo….T…H……. perfect for operations an procedures, designed for coastal waters.

  THAT… is a Hospital ship that could be used in conjunction with such a city as described above. A city that is immune to GVT (maybe…) providing a bastion of wealth, communications, and (essentially) a life ring of survival that would then be the operation center for many ships plying the coastal waters of the former United States in an effort to extract the remnants of talent and brains until such time as the final collapse comes and what is left, can be recaptured and assimilated into the new model.

  Because it is Defensible. It has a very formidable natural “Moat” surrounding it and could be defended against raids, tunneling, and grappling. If YOU are the last bastion of wealth, law, and order in the middle of a sinking cess pit… you can bet your last gold coin, it will be raided by bands or armed thugs trying to get into it… you don’t want sewer lines that ALL have to be plugged, you dan’t want towers (other tall building) all around you that look down into your compound. You don’t want to have to clear block after block of building to make fields of fire and lanes of fire. YOU WANT AN ISLAND THAT YOU CAN DEFEND AND THAT IS VERY HARD TO PENETRATE EVEN IN WINTER.

  GREAT IDEA: I would augment it by saying that, INSTEAD OF TAXES… use interest, earnings, and dividends. If you have a bridge for example, create a Trust Fund that maintains a principal large enough to satiate the maintenance of the bridge, PLUS 25%50% more so that the “more” portion allows for the growth of the fund. THEN… you recycle that capital to grow the fund larger. For EACH item of infrastructure, do the same. For each “governmental” like function do the same. For each Company that make THIS their home, offer the same legal construct. For each individual that makes this their home, offer them the same. When you’ve built your company on a “Bedrock” of Capital, INSTEAD of hopes, dream, and desires, IT… WILL…. WORK….
