You are right to an extent, but when a good person sees these kinds of abuses going on and does nothing about it they cease to be good people.

I feel horrible for the family, but have they not been reading the news lately?. The dog was better off lost than having a cop looking forward consider the recent trends regarding police and family pets.

I don’t think most evangelical churches have much to worry about. Now African American churches on the other hand might be in trouble, because they’ll enforce this equally across the political spectrum…right?

Let me give you some input from a former skeptic/seeker. There are two things that are more annoying to skeptics and seekers than anything else. Christians that think they know what is going on inside the head of a skeptic/seeker, and Christians that don’t care, and 98% of the comments on this board seem to fall into this category. A couple of things that we really need to think about when dealing with Skeptics and seekers.
1. Jesus says in the bible that we are called to deal with skeptics and seekers, “Go into all nations…” So I don’t think our attitude should be “I don’t care what a bunch of d****** democrats think.” We are called to engage them.
2. Most skeptics and seekers can deal with truth. That is what they are seeking, they know we have strong beliefs in things, they know we believe the bible is the Word of God, and that it is innerant and infalible, and seekers, real seekers, don’t mind hearing that. In fact this kind of certainty can be very comforting to someone who is not sure what to believe.
If we believe the gospel we have the greatest message in the history of the world, lets not spend so much time trying to tweek and improve it…as if we could…and stop spending so much time complaining about people who don’t believe and lets give people the greatest news that’s ever been given, plain and honest with love and compassion.
wow…there are buildings in manhattan with computers in them. The biggest non-story of the day.

He put his hands on the police officer, at this point the officer has a right to defend himself and restrain him. He does not have to wait to find out if the man is actually attacking him or not, you put your hands on a cop you’re going to get cuffed. There were not punches, clubs, or anything like that involved, and once the man was restrained it was over. I’m the first to speak out against police brutaility, I wrote letters and sent emails to Moore, OK after Luis Rodriguez was murdered in cold blood, while his his wife and daughter looked on. Same thing
with Lee County Fla. when jail officer tortured a mentally-ill man to death for six hours. But calling this brutality cheapens the real thing.

The cop clearly didn’t do anything wrong, the guy put his hands on him, and he restrained him. No blows, no beatings, and as soon as the man was cuffed he stepped back and took his hands off of him.

I guess they’ll just have to put me in the same prison that they put the people who use the world natural in…so they’re.

People need to use there brains. Marijuana is natural, opium is natural, cyanide, is natural. Just b/c something is natural doesn’t make it good for you. But instead of educating we just ban stuff. Nothing like taking the easy way out. Oh well, I guess it’s just natural to do that.
"People need to use there brains."
Now I understand how easy it is to make a typo or a spelling mistake, especially using mobile devices and autocorrect. But when you make a statement like that it's best to give it a good hard look before hitting post.

Orthodox Jews do not allow for any kind of statute for whatever purpose. That being said they don’t go around defacing other’s property as well.

Unbreakable Union of freeborn Republics,
Great Russia has welded forever to stand.
Created in struggle by will of the people,
United and mighty, our Soviet land!
Sing to the Motherland, home of the free,
Bulwark of peoples in brotherhood strong.
O Party of Lenin, the strength of the people,
To Communism’s triumph lead us on!
Oh sorry, I just figured I better start practicing our new national anthem for after the patent office cancels the current one.

4488 dead and 32,000 wounded, for what? Anyone still say voting for a third party is throwing away your vote?

They were too busy beating 10 year old kids for drawing pictures of guns in school.
That’s what you get for excercising your right to free speech. They’re coming for you next.

Sorry crumbles. 1 Cor. 6 does not say it is a sin to sue someone, it says it is a shame that there are lawsuits among the believers. I agree it is a shame that this man was fired for something that he didn’t do, I agree that it is a shame that the college is so legalistic that they set their own personal moral and ethical judgments above those of the Word of God. I think its a shame that they are willing to strip this man of his and his families livelihood b/c of something so childish. It is already a shame what has happened and this man should sue away.

I would love to believe that Islam is a religion of peace, unfortunately its teachings and followers prohibit that belief.
I am not sure, but I think Monk is sick and can't stand up.
I'm here and no, I do not try to get first comment.
Stupid is as stupid does.
There’s a great deal of stupid going around these days.
The kids are lucky they are still breathing.
Ok...what difference does it make who gets the first comment? Are we practicing for kindergarten or something?
If you have an FN shotgun, then FN use it!!!! In most states Warning Shots are illegal. Hear about the woman in FL who fired a warning shot to keep her husband from assaulting her...yep she's in jail for 10 years!!! A blast from close range will result in only two POS juvenile delinquents sitting on the tax payer funded jail cots instead of three. If you have a gun, USE IT!!! JesusFNCrayola.
Just have to say there is more to this story. This house is across the street from us. A kid lives there and grows marijuana. The smell totally stinks up the neighborhood. He has had this problem before with "intruders breaking in" Police have come to try to shut the operation down. These kids that "broke in" are his buddies. They were arguing outside the house first. That is when the shot was fired outside. Police came and took one suspect away. I dont know if the homeowner kid has had repercussions.
Hey j_aa_k. Monk is in a bad way so why don't you shut the hell up.
