I’m sure the judge will do well in prison.

But the republicans are the lesser of two evils. What to do, what to do?

Ridiculous, anyone who volunteers for this “safety” search should be ridiculed out of the country.

    Can’t argue with that

Appraisers cannot inflate a market value as that is determined by the buyers. Appraisers are there to protect the lender in case of default. Buyers are the cause of inflated housing prices. Especially when the zero down mortgage thing was popular. They had no skin in the game and if they defaulted, oh well, try again next time.
My question is, should the government step in and regulate housing prices since people cannot get a job in the area because of high housing costs?

“But are they failing in that mission — working for loan companies and forcing you to pay more than you should for your home?”

This is my problem with the housing market and lots of people involved it. No one forced anyone to buy a house for “more” than its value, which is relative, the only one responsible for paying too much is the purchaser. An appraiser is a source of info, not the law.

There is no way somebody can make you pay more for your home than what it was worth as it’s value is based upon how much you were willing to pay for it.

    Good to see you back.

Well…in the president’s defense Mr. West, what he is doing is exactly how one puts the nail in the coffin of a dying republic. It’ll be a brave new world out there, hope everyone is ready.

He must be part of the kinder, gentler breed of commie. It’s hard for the State to have their luxuries if they go about killing their slaves.

“I don’t believe in gun control, but I do believe first time purchasers of firearms should be required to complete a safety course before being allowed to purchase an handgun.”
Then you do believe in gun control.

    In my best Masshole voice…
“You can trample our 4th amendment (Boston). You can wipe with the 2nd (pretty much all of NE). But heaven help you if you come after our smokes! Down with big government!”

No, not because it’s not fair…because it’s dishonest. You must like your government acting like the criminals. And yes, undercover drug buys do piss me off.

Police have no business being covert. That is for the military on foreign soil or while directly fighting an invader on American soil. Is there a difference these days between the military and “police”?

Welcome to the real world kid.

  • [8] November 4, 2014 at 3:36pm

No wonder kids these days are confused and angry. Safety for safety’s sake will turn a kid into a weak willed coward, afraid to cross the street. We’d still be living in cavesfif early humans took this mindset. Da’von…take the punishment as a badge of honor knowing that you did something that a sane person would consider harmless.

    I won’t

Just as the Patriot Act was designed exclusively for terrorists, so shall this be. This will end badly for Liberty.

What’s the point of defending yourself if you end up in jail? One shouldn’t have to ask permission to defend themselves with a firearm to maintain their law abiding status. In a different situation that could’ve very well been the case.
