  I agree completely, this is really getting dumb, not funny. I know, I clicked on the link. I think TheBlaze could keep up as a viable news source without the bs like this. If this is the route they want to take, why not post something about the kardashians or one of those “american idols”?

  That’s what I don’t friggin get! I live about 30 minutes from this place, and was reading the story in the Scare-Telegram, and the “reporters” all said he was really deep into the Bible, and Old Testament.

  My thoughts were, “Oh yeah, I remember all those stories about carving pentagrams onto children in the OT… wait, there weren’t any.”

  It’s a shame they can’t call it what it is, a desperate man, going through some really tough times, listening to satan decided to act on a crazy idea to “worship” a “holy day” I never thought about the 121212 being a double 666, but that makes sense. Just don’t say he’s deep into the Bible, that crap was never in there.

  Just as others have said, A TIP IS FOR SERVICE/S ABOVE AND BEYOND WHAT’S EXPECTED. If I’m at Walmart and the cashier rings me out without an error, does he/she deserve a tip? NO, THAT’S JUST EXPECTED! If they are near the end of their shift and they carry my bag or are just above and beyond, then maybe they get a tip. It’s this entitled/deserving mentality that drives me insane. I have been a bartender, and a waiter, it sucks, but if you don’t like it, you aren’t forced to be there. You are free to leave. No awkward stare is going to get me to let you carry my bags and then tip. I’ll just stare back or ask if I can help you.

  Who are the US politicians who are responsive to the idea? Name names! Get their names out, let it be sent to every other forum or board where other “computer nerds” hang out (I’m one of them, so I feel free to call myself that.) I see there seems to just be a consensus that its the republicans that want to take away all rights, and the democrats are the good ones… I’m not saying their aren’t bad/filthy/worthless republicans, but let’s not make this a party thing. This is a “u.n. G.T.F.O. of America” thing.

  If you are going to be trying to “bash” someone, or point out folly in someone’s logic, perhaps you should learn the difference between accept and except. People have to work at trying to figure out what you are saying, if you cannot be clear.

  I’ll second the jerkoff tax, except make it every penny they have been paid to “represent” the people. This also needs to include the time wasted by every intern, secretary, or aide. Should be well over $500k for many of the career politicians.

  IF you were being sarcastic, I can see that point and say, hell, why stop at 99, jack that thing up to $500 as a tax.

  I hope that since the city knows people can be assaulted by rocks, bats, clubs..etc, those should all have the violence tax tacked on as well.

  WHAT A FRIGGIN R-TARDED IDEA!?! But then again, what do you expect from chicago?

  As a side note, it infuriates me when I hear the tv talking heads talk about “assault rifles” because it is the black metal/plastic gun. The AR in the AR-15 never stood for assault rifle. It’s only ARmalite, the maker. I always post this question to people who think ar = assault rifle, that if someone assaults someone else with a rock, does that rock become an assault rock? or assault bat?

  Maybe I’m still just p/o-ed from Tuesday…
