  Yes it’s true cats can fall a long way without getting hurt. However the most common injury when that happens is that when they land on their feet, they do a face plant and break their jaw. My little Schmoo did that and had her jaw wired shut for 6 weeks. Not a fun 6 weeks, trust me. It’s referred to as “high rise syndrome”. Good thing that their jaw is basically cartiledge and it wasn’t that tragic, she did break one of her front teeth though.

  As I live in the Hartford Courant area, I concur that the paper only serves as lining for my bird cage. I think it’s great that the Koch brothers are trying to get into media. It would be nice to see what the LA Times has been hiding for over 5 years in the Rashid Khalidi tape that they refuse to show so as not to embarass the preezy.

  And where exactly do those common core beliefs come from? Do we take the liberal/progressive set of common core beliefs where no one is judged and no personal responsibility is required, i.e. do what is good for you and screw everybody else, or do we use the Judeo/Christian ones that we have been, for the most part, following for centuries?
